DXVK_FRAME_RATE=30 %command%

The game caps itself at 45fps, not matter what you do.
On Steam Deck Oled, the game caps itself to half the refresh rate, that is to say 45fps. There is no working solution to this, as the overlay FPS cap doesn't seem to work properly in this case. The game was designed to run on a 60hz screen at 30fps. Any change to that ends up messing up with the inputs, which in a rhythm game is more than noticeable. Can't possibly recommend it on OLED. As the LCD Deck has a 60hz screen, I imagine it is perfectly fine to play the game on it.

Used config tool to change game to 60hz.
Reduced TDP to 10 watts.
Game can sometimes slowdown when invoking and interacting with the quick access menu.
On Steam Deck LCD the game runs perfectly fine with no visual issues.
On Steam Deck OLED, the game ignores any attempt to change the refresh rate in it's configuration tool and forces the game to run at 90hz (45fps). Using the quick access menu to change it instead causes a multitude of problems, the main one being slowdown and the game permanently going out of sync.
While the game is completely playable at 90hz (45fps), not being able to force 60hz is problematic as the game was designed to run at 60hz (30fps), so it introduces issues when using a higher refresh rate. The animation speed for some sections is too fast, leading to a disconnect between the audio and visuals. This can create a jarring experience in those sections of the game where the rhythm remains perfectly fine but the visuals don't match.
Very good game regardless of the issues, one of my favorite games ever and having it on a portable is a dream come true!!

The game works perfectly out of the box
The game has no cloud save.
It has some slight stutters when a new part of the level loads, but it's mostly the first time you play.
I discovered that the game crashes if you use gamescope or gamemode, the game is old so it should play nicely on any computer.
The game works out of the box, including the videos
The game defaulted to Japanese audio, not sure if that is intentional, but it could be changed in the configuration launcher either way.
More of a soft crash but occasionally when exiting a stage (either through the menu or finishing a stage) the game doesn't load and will hang on a black screen. Sometimes it'll load in after a minute or so but most of the time it will require force-quitting the game.
This report was made after playing the first stage and a little of Ulala's Dance mode.

i have my deck at low settings
The game runs pretty much exactly like on Windows
Game works fine out of the box!
Works out of the box.
There is some stuttering. It de-syncs the audio, which makes the rhythm game unplayable. This can be fixed by restarting the level, but it's still very annoying.
I have an issue with my system where Proton 6.x just refuses to launch any 32-bit games. Had to switch to the older Proton 5.x, not sure why.
Just like with other reports which used Proton 5.x, the config menu does not work, but you can launch AppLauncher.exe
separately using regular Wine. You can then run the game from Steam normally.
Cleared first level
Worked without a hitch in proton experimental.
Works now out of the box
Game works now, input is a little strange with the keyboard

6.1-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Proton-6.1-GE-1 Glorious Eggroll
Cannot launch the configuration tool (has to be launched manually from the game files)
Exiting the game hangs it, you need to kill the process manually
Cannot launch the configuration tool (has to be launched manually from the game files) Exiting the game hangs it, you need to kill the process manually
Works perfectly with Proton 5.13
Must hit Alt+Enter to exit fullscreen to exit black screen; Proton Experimental
Disabling esync helps get rid of almost all random frame drops that desync audio and input
Beat all six reports, notable bugs encountered:
-Some projectiles visually desync in the final segment of report 2 (happened in 3/3 runs; audio and input are fine so doesn't really affect gameplay)
-Desync of audio and input during the end of the final segment of report 6 (happened in 2/3 runs I've done, but may have been a result of taking screenshots in the first two runs).
Use Proton Experimental!
I played in 1080p60Hz mode, the game seems to lock framerate at 38fps though.
Audio/input timing seems perfect and doesn't unsync.
I've beaten two levels so far, the only bug I've encountered was the timing of the pods in the final section of level two being sped up (meaning you visually get hit, but the inputs the game wants are still timed properly with the audio, so it doesn't affect gameplay)
Gamepad support works well.
Cutscenes are all loading and playing properly

Game only runs a black screen, probably indicating that is something wrong with the incial FMV sequence
If you still wants to run this game, use PlayOnLinux on version 2.4 32 bit. Create a prefix of it or install the game using the wine version above. Iif you face any missing textures, install the libapng12 libraries, if the game runs too fast install strangle and run the following command line:
strangle 30 playonlinux
This will locks everything that runs on PlayOnLinux at 30 fps.

Borked
Doesn't work at all, just a black screen. ProtonGE didn't help.
Config works, but the game itself starts with a black screen, which hasn't been resolved yet.

Black screen on startup

Black screen only

Just a black screen nothing happens. Only the configuration tool launches/works.

Settings screen comes up but selecting play just shows a black screen
Setting screen works, game is just a black screen.

Settings screen comes up but selecting play just shows a black screen

Black screen

Black screen, 100% CPU. There's more luck under vanilla Wine, but has an uncontrollable FPS due to v-sync not working.
