Haven't tried without custom launch options because of HDR.

It just works.

without my typical launch options, the experience was almost the same. admittedly, I didn't try long enough for a proper conclusion. 1 game was played and no problems were observed.
work out of the box

running in borderless adds a small white border. used to be fixed with gamescope, but this now prevents the game from launching, so i just have to live with it i guess
running in fullscreen gives a ~20% performance hit on my system (borderless is fine)

DXVK_CONFIG="d3d11.maxFeatureLevel = 12_1" %command% --use-d3d11 -force-vulkan -USEALLAVAILABLECORES
Sometimes cannot alt-tab back into the game

Issues joining or having others join my squad.
I was on my cachyos drivers which resulted in the joining bug. Once I switched to experimental proton it worked like a dream.

mangohud game-performance %command% --use-d3d11 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES
tiny white border in fullscreen-borderless
Default proton version for me is proton-cachy. For some reason this breaks multiplayer, but forcing experimental solved it

PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 %command% -USEALLAVAILABLECORES
Launch options are for HDR which works with Mesa 25.1 drivers and onwards (and at least GE-Proton10 I think? tkg also worked but other alternatives didn't) without the need of gamescope.

Game runs perfectly out of the box, the only issue is artillery shells are all Silver, and therefore not identifiable by color

Game works great besides FPS drop on initial mission drop.
HUGE FPS drop at the start of mission during the pod drop. Only occurs during the first pod drop of the mission. Once you have landed and left the pod, performance fully recovers.

The mouse escaped the window when I moved it too fast on borderless. Fixed it by switching to fullscreen

small white border on borderless windowed, fixed with fullscreen
Im getting higher fps than my windows install. Do note, I'm using Nobara OS and an AMD gpu, so your outcome may vary, but its working extremely well with little to no tinkering.

borderless window left a white border

In borderless window mode, there is a very thin white frame. It is possible to make it disappear in full screen.
Works great. But I don't have crossplay enabled.

--use-d3d11
Crashed when alt tab out of it on wayland but X11 fixed it
Cant use CTRL or SHIFT keys on wayland but X11 fixed it
USE X11

--use-d3d11 (and press skip vulkan shader rebuild every startup)

Bugs encountered are the same bugs as any Windows user would encounter.

No issues, wayland (Hyprland) at 1080p, no performance issues but still a possibility as my graphics card is overkill. I've heard using --use-d3d11
launch parameter improves performance significantly but haven't tried yet. Someone mentioned a texture bug without this flag but I have not noticed any such issues.
There is a thin white border around the window in fullscreen, but that could be intended (??) or just a weird issue, not a distraction.

Game runs without an issue out of the box, did not make any changes to it.
Windowed full screen had a silver outline around it
There is a small white border around the window when running windowed borderless. Otherwise no issues.

DXVK_CONFIG="d3d11.maxFeatureLevel = 12_1" %command% --use-d3d11 -force-vulkan -useallavailablecores
Had to switch into fullscreen instead of borderless fullscreen - to get rid of white line around.
gamemoderun gamescope -W 2560 -H 1440 -r 144 --adaptive-sync --force-grab-cursor -f -- %command%
After completing one mission the mouse input would seem like it is jumping between where you move your mouse to and where it was prveiously making it difficult to look around, would only happen moving the mouse so running around without moving mouse worked perfectly

Game runs perfectly, however I have a weird problem that the game updates every single day with sizes from 100MB to 500MB, even when no updates came out, weren't able to fix that yet.

White border on borderless, fixed by using fullscreen
Cinnamon's (DE) compositor really hates this game (atleast from my experience). Would get periods of intense lag, mainly when stuff was happening. The setting to turn off the compositor in fullscreen apps didnt work and Cinnamon doesnt have a keybind nor a setting to turn it off temporarily/permamently. Launching the game under KDE Plasma eliminates said periods of lag, so I am 99% sure this is a Cinnamon issue
gamemoderun mangohud %command% -USEALLAVAILABLECORES --use-d3d11

Runs perfectly fine
Weird white border around borderless window
Adding the starting parameter --use-d3d11 causes significant reduction in performance for me by about 50%

tive uma boa experinecia, sem ajustes, mas acredito que os problemas possam ser sanados
alguns travamentos leves de 1 a 2 segundos

SDL_VIDEODRIVER=x11 LD_PRELOAD="" gamescope --mangoapp --backend sdl -w 2560 -h 1440 -f -- %command% -USEALLAVAILABLECORES --use-d3d11 -force-vulkan
Wayland and Vulkan need to get their collective sh*t together. Especially now that major distro maintainers are dropping x11 in favor of Wayland (RHEL, being the first). If not, gaming on Linux will not be a sustainable venture in the future.
PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 %command%

Didn't need to do any major tweaks. I just set it to Proton Experimental (just in case) on first startup & it works perfectly fine for me.
No issues, but there's a weird white border around the screen on borderless window & fullscreen.
gamemoderun %command% gamescope --force-grab-cursor %command% -USEALLAVAILABLECORES
Using GE-Proton10-3 I had to use gamescope to lock the cursor. Ended up solving significant freezes when tabbing out and in of fullscreen.

Works Great
Windowed Borderless gives a weird border around the game
Other then the borderless window border its good fun, border goes away if you put it in fullscreen
