The controller would function until I entered the main menu screen. To fix this, I was required to perform the following:
- Load the game up via PC.
- Plug in a controller.
- Go to gameplay settings and enable Controller Support.
- Exit the game and await cloud sycning (took approximately 30 seconds).
- Load the game up via Steam Deck.
I didn't play multiplayer, so can't comment on that. But solo was fine. No issues at all.

The game has native support for gamepads, and the game itself runs at a stable 60 fps. You can limit TDP to 6W to slightly increase gam time on battery, and even then you will get 60 fps

all text is blank cube of white or green, no matter what i do

after wait very long time updating executable it work

Gyro enabled on left trigger, put left stick click (= run) to back grip buttons
needed to restart the game once in the whole playthrough due to audio crackling (I think it's a SD bug and not the game's fault)
This game showed me how amazing gyro aim is on a steam deck
An awesome Warhammer 40K shooter with heavy and impactful gameplay mechanics, runs perfectly on the deck
50 hz/fps and TDP 8 Watts for around 3,5-4 hours of battery life
At first launch, had to change the resolution from 720p to 800p

Menu options could not be selected until I used the touchscreen to change the controls to gamepad within the game menu.
Once you set up gamepad controls, set the display aspect ratio to 16:9 widescreen, otherwise it displays in 4:3.
Other than the single weird crash that got me to reinstall the game, everything else when butter smooth. Nice 4-5 hours of battery playing.
Steady 60 fps, but ran it capped at 40 fps to keep battery between 8-10W
After some hours playing, tried to re-open it after a break, got a Bugsplash window. Only "quick" solution I found was to reinstall the whole game. Worked again until I finished it.
As a side note, I read here that some people had to manually enable gamepad compatibility and some other troubleshooting with the Steam Common Redistributables. I didn't have the controller issue, worked out of the box, and probably had the Redistributables already installed from other games.
Docked performance: manually forced 1080p, uncapped FPS, ran steady at 80-90 fps, with peaks of 110 fps on cinematics.
You need to search the lirbary for Steam Common Redistributables and install before running this game. Bugsplat window = Verify files cache
Bind a trackpad to mouse and left click to enable the gamepad in the game's menu
50 Hz 50Fps Allow tearing in Overlay, Vsync in Game, 7w tdp
You may see a Bugsplat window if you do, back out and Verify Install Files or Reinstall The game
You need to manually enable gamepad support by using mouse ina trackpad to navigate menus
Be aware, you need to search the lirbary for Steam Common Redistributables and install before running this game. You may have it already from other titles in which case you are golden. If you see a Bugsplat window, Verify install cache or Reinstall the game. If you still have graphical or launch problems after installing Steam Common Redistributables try downloading the Monster Hunter Demo for its C++ redistributables but it should not be needed. Proton-Ge has a slight problem with shadow as of the time of writing (GE43), use valve's
Need to enable mouse trackpad to get into the menu to enable controller support and change aspect ratio to 16:9 (from 4:3).
Controller isn't enabled by default so had to enable mouse trackpad to get into the menu to enable it
limited to 40fps
Once set up it plays great at a constant 60fps on high settings, though you can limit to save battery.
Limit frequenzen to 40 FPS and using FSR on 1152x720
Controler have not been detected. To solve this issue change to the layout "Mouse only" go to options -> game options and enable the controler. If the controler is not available stay in this menu and switch to the default layout. Now it should work.
Controler have npt been detected. To solve this change the layout to "Mous only" and go to options -> game options and enable the game pad. If this is not possible stay in this menu and change the layout back to default again. Now your controler should be detected. At least it solved the problem for me.
Limit frequenzen to 40 fps Using FSR on 1152x720
Initially controller wasn't detected. Going into the options and controller settings made it start working however. Since then. No issues with controller at all. Only on first launch.
Plays like a dream and is an absolutely smashing game on the Deck
Limit to 40 FPS
Menu text is very blurry
Inputs not recognized. You can press any button to skip the opening screens but once you're in the main menu, none of the buttons work.

Blurry text options
For whatever reason the game reduces the mouse sensitivity while the left analog stick on a gamepad is used. So to get consistent sensitivity in all situation I remapped the left stick to WASD.
Once, after suspend/resume the audio crackled until the game was restarted.
First time setup took unusually long but then the game itself ran without any issues.
