DXVK_FILTER_DEVICE_NAME="RTX 4060" %command%
Loading screen is heavily artifacted. Game menu and in-match gameplay is normal though.

Works as good as on windows almost OOTB, the only thing I had to do was to install c++ runtime with winetricks.
I had to use winetricks to install c++ runtime

Working OOTB!
Multiplayer funcionando perfeitamente. Funciona com qualquer proton. Também funciona com comandos do gamescope, usei para jogar com reoslução em 2k.

Kards got a big back-end update a little while ago and it's been borkened since then. Diff PCs, diff Protons, diff distros, no dice.
funciona perfeitamente, camarada!
nenhum problema com anticheat
funciona com qualquer versão de proton recente
works perfectly OOTB, the game uses only mouse controls but i created some simple shortcuts anyways
i made the config
i have no idea why steam says its unsupported
It's pretty small in the cards, but nothing difficult
This game is pretty chill and fun on the Deck, learnt and started playing it from one. Don't understand why it's unsupported by the Official Steam Deck Rating. You have to use Default Mouse and Keyboard layout. Seems the game doesn't have any controller Support.

Asks to install runtimes, I let it do that and after that runs fine.
On some of the cards
Sometimes titlescreen turns black, using experimentall fixed it (at least for me)
Crashed twice in ~15h of gameplay
Pro tip: If you are waiting for a match for >2 minutes, search for match again, otherwise you could wait litteral hours (wr is 120h i think)
Switch to experimental
Yes, the only thing I noticed is the missing title screen image. Besides, works 100% fine.
The title screen image is missing, replaced by an ugly place holder. Rest of the game is fine!
Worked flawlessly as it does on Windows.
Don't start
Good gameplay without any errors. Definitely recommend trying this game out.
The objects (telescope, bullets, etc.) on the table flickered every couple of seconds. The cards and animations all displayed properly. I got the flickering to stop by lowering the resolution in the game's settings.

7.0rc3-GE-1 GloriousEggroll

Proton-7.0rc3-GE-1 (https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases) GloriousEggroll
I installed protontricks and winetricks and then ran "protontricks 544810 vcrun2019" as explained by Grainman (see below).
For me an update of the nvidia graphics driver did the trick. While I was not successful using the vulkan drivers, nor the nvidia driver I had previously installed (NVIDIA 440), I am now able to run the game without problems after having installed the NVIDIA 460 driver. At least for me the game still needs a custom proton version, though.

fails even with Visual C++ Runtime installed
I had the game installed, but it would not run due to missing Visual C++ Runtime.
I tried using a custom Proton version, as suggested by Andor (see below). With Proton-6.12-GE-1 the game did not ask me to install Visual C++ Runtime any more, but would not start either (no error, no loading screen - just nothing). I tried later versions (6.21-GE-2, 7.0rc2-GE-1) as well, but with these versions Kards asked me to install Visual C++ Runtime again...
Next I tried Grainman's solution (also see below) and installed a usable version of Visual C++ Runtime using the current verisions of protontricks and winetricks and running "protontricks 544810 vcrun2019". It looks like this worked properly, but the final result is still the same as before: Kards will not start properly; the game stops without any error message, loading screen, or anything.

Everything seems to work fine, other than the slight fiddliness of getting a usable version of Visual C++ Runtime installed.
Need to install a fairly new version of Visual C++ Runtime; which is successful if you have protontricks
and a relatively recent version of winetricks
installed and run the following:
protontricks 544810 vcrun2019
I've played about 10 hours so far, and haven't noticed any of the slow-downs or lag other users have reported.

Tries to install Microsoft Visual C++ and fails
protontricks 544810 vcrun2010 (and other years) wasn't enough.

Setup Failed -- Invalid ACL
Steam tries to install some Visual C++ Runtime (UE4 Prerequisites), but fails. Tried without compability tool, Proton experimental, Proton 6.3, 5.13, 4.11, 3.7 -- all the same.

Fails after initial attempt to install Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime
The UE4 Prerequisites (x64) setup fails. 0x80070538 - Invalid ACL.
There's a log file, but it's too long to post here. I didn't read anything there that looked helpful to fixing this.
Zero issues installing, running, and completing the tutorials.
If you encounter the aforementioned pause on 5.13, using 5.0 is a simple workaround.
Every so often the game would pause for a couple of seconds, then resume at the point it would have been at if it had kept going. 5.13 only, 5.0 is fine.
No audio for some reason. Try GE.
No audio whatsoever
When the game works, I noticed the game's reaction time significantly slowed after several rounds, to the point where during a recent PvP session it was to the point it was completely not registering that I was clicking the mouse - something made even more frustrating considering turns are timed.
Game crashes on startup so often I'm probably going to give up on continuing to try to play it. Every time I hit the "play" button in Steam it's like a roll of the dice whether it will start or not. Occasionally it seems to start with no issues. More often, I either get a black screen for a minute which then goes away, or all I get is the hard drive spinning for a minute with nothing showing on the screen at all.
Although I consistently have trouble with this game crashing, it does appear to work flawlessly for most people. I have an older PC so it may simply be a hardware issue.
Installs and runs great. Consistent 60 FPS.
Works Perfectly out of the box
Runs perfectly
Multiplayer working and syncs progress perfectly between Windows & Linux sessions, flawless experience and a really fun game!
everything OK, including online multiplayer.

Runs very poorly without the above launch options. Once enabled, runs normally. The mouse feels a bit weird but that's normal for Unreal Engine games, even on Windows, for quite a while now.

Proton-5.6-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Proton-5.6-GE-2
Running flawessly, out of the box.

Being competitive game, crashes during match (epecially winning ones) are very frustrating
First game is usually fine, 2nd is sluggish, fps drop. 3rd is sluggish, fps drop, often kicks me out of the game
First game is usually fine, 2nd is sluggish, fps drop 3rd is sluggish, fps drop, often kicks me out of the game
The cards are an important part of the game, and their textures are missing, making it extremely difficult to play
crashes on startup without this
The cards do not display correctly, are instead just black
Game was very sluggish and the cards followed behind the cursor when dragging

Kept forgetting to submit a report because the game runs so well
