Looking like a good opening BUT EAC SAYS NOOO!!!!
(Using Proton Experimental)
I enabled 'Safe mode setting' on the opening window and the game started up. After displaying the opening credits an error about Easy Anti-Cheat is shown and the game automatically closes.
Proton BattlEye Runtime needs to be installed in Steam
Tested with Proton Experimental 6.3-20211203
Works. Just the minor mouse problem that's quickly remedied
Had to quickly Alt+Tab at the start of each battle for my mouse to work
I originally installed Crossout a year ago and just left it installed. I tried to play it again after seeing reports of it working but Steam still wouldn't launch it. I had to completely uninstall Crossout and reinstall it for it to launch.
Fullscreen worked perfectly. A windowed screen would constantly stutter when the window was expanded
The objects (telescope, bullets, etc.) on the table flickered every couple of seconds. The cards and animations all displayed properly. I got the flickering to stop by lowering the resolution in the game's settings.
The game wouldn't launch with Proton 7.0.2 I had to force the compatability version to Proton Experimental
Using Proton 7.0.1
Added in Summer 2021, it's custom-made apparently
I have 'Shader Pre-Caching' enabled in Steam's settings.
I didn't use any launch options or other tweaks.
Minimized the artifacts in the shooting range by turning on vsync and setting the quality to low. Online play was pretty much unplayable though due to the flickering and tearing.
Due to the graphics problem.
Only happened in windowed mode, running the game in fullscreen (press F11) resolved the inaccuracy.
The compatability tool had to be forced to 'Proton Experimental'. The default Steam runtime at the time (Proton 7.0-1) failed to launch the game.
