Fonctionne bien en mode solo
Pas de mode en ligne à cause de l'anticheat.

Doesn't work thanks to Anti-Cheat
Singleplayer works but honestly, it's a Multiplayer game so it's borked in my eyes

Just play singleplayer mode. Multiplayer is not working.

Fuck EAC :)
No multiplayer thanks to EAC.
Fuck EAC :)
No Multiplay thanks to EAC

Multi-player mode is unavailable.

Performance hit is larger than the average translation layer performance hit.
NO EAC MEANS NO MULTIPLAYER!!! It seems the game has gotten more playable, according the older reports. The performance i got with my 1050ti was good enough to enjoy singleplayer/pve, but, i'd be in a huge disadvantage if i were to get in a short range fight with another player. Good thing is, almost everyone has hardware FAR better than mine, and thus, despite the larger performance hit, the average player nowdays would probably get plenty of FPS to be competitive with. Also, the FSR 2 implementation in this game seems pretty good. Regarding multiplayer, people need to ask the devs to enable EAC on Linux, just gotta hope the devs or the windows users won't go "waaaaaah there will be cheaters waaaaaah". (as if there weren't cheaters already... even kernel level AC's aren't bulletproof) I was also getting really bad stutters, but, i didn't mention that on the performance part because im 95% sure it's because i have it on an old HDD, and the game asks for AT LEAST an SSD. So yeah, don't play this on an HDD.

worked out of the box, runs good enough to enjoy it in singleplayer (no multiplayer support so far)
could be game bugs doing their thing. (ex.g. First-person running speed is faster than third-person)
(playing on high tho!) Slight: Game's missing optimization, but still ran decent enough Significant Problem: so far only within one circumstance: particles when trying to pick up "fake loot"
on startup: "couldn't verify dll signatures" multiplayer still isn't available (easy anti-cheat!)
not including their 0.95 bugs, had various results within vulkan & dx12 both worked and were playable enough (+60-100fps)

Playable, with a number of some solvable problems. Connection to servers is not available at the moment.
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1
Sometimes freeze, not critical
It is impossible to connect to the servers, at first it loads completely, then it crashes with the message “Failed to connect”
In general, the game can be launched and played, but it needs a little tweaking and testing. Online is not available, it is impossible to connect to the server, although the list of servers works fine, perhaps this problem will be solved soon.
Despited dll error and corrupted cache msg, the game is playable but I've not been able to avoid the multiplayer options being greyed out.
env:
GAMEMODERUNEXEC="env __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia __VK_LAYER_NV_optimus=NVIDIA_only"
gamemoderun %command%
Since SCUM is mostly enjoyable as multiplayer game, I would be pleased if proton devs could focus on this part.

Worked OOTB on Vulkan. However no Multiplayer possible.
Despite: Message "Not all dll signatures are verified" Message "File integrity compromised! Please verify your game cache"
Game runs.

Totally playable with Proton 7.0-4 launched in Vulkan mode.
It is playable, but only barely on low settings.
Once I switched to Proton 7.0-4 the game started fine. Experimental and other versions hung at a black screen after startup. Performance was extremely poor on my hardware. Might be playable on a better system.

Black screen with error messages
The game installed fine, but when I went to open it I recieved errors about my DLL signatures were not all verified. So I tried to verify my files and everything came back fine. After some research, this seems to be an EAC problem.

UI elements
Saves are local so forget cloud sync
EAC
Overall decent singleplayer experience on low/medium graphics preset
In my system it worked out of the box, except Multiplayer b/c of the AntiCheat-System. That's definately an issue for most gamers.
Runs flawlessly without tinkering - except Multiplayer b/c of the AntiCheat-System. I always get an error message and can't be bothered to even try multiplayer. But as a Singleplayer experience it works pretty well on EPIC graphics settings. No glitches, no strange graphics issues. (Well, I died often LOL)

PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1
Generally performs at roughly 30% of Windows'. Lowest graphical settings and a reduction in render resolution can result in playable framerates.
Two DLL files fail to verify as the game starts - these can be ignored, but you may have to tab over to them to close them. DX11 (default) works fairly well, and was all that worked for me anyway. DX12 starts, but crashes after a minute. Vulkan doesn't launch at all.
Certain situations (character creation, skydiving, lockpicking) can cause up to an 80% performance loss on top of the already bad performance, lasting indefinitely. Performance could be slowly restored once out of the situation by tweaking render resolution slightly, but will return if you perform the action again.
EAC fails to start, even with Proton Experimental.
Performance is... Bad. That's about all there is to it. It can be worked around and dealt with if you really want to, and only want to play solo, but it won't be especially pleasent.

Proton-6.21-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
FPS drops
Runs but is hardly playable with GPU offloading to my 1050ti. Get at most 20 frames.
Have a GTX 1050ti that I can activate with prime-run but I get at most 20 frames in game on lowest settings.

This game was completely unplayable on my system.
Items are loading too slowly in scene
starting while tabbed messes up mouse.
5FPS or less, vulkan wont work.
Vulkan wont load.
Vulkan wont load.
Linux port or at least working vulkan, is neccessary. I tried everything I could find in websearch...
Works OOTB, despite errors, but does not fell finished
Errors:
- Message "Not all dll signatures are verified"
- Message "File integrity compromised! Please verify your game cache"
Generally, pretty terrible experience. Playable, but not good.
When fullscreened, it would keep you locked in the game and not let you Alt-Tab out
Input feels kinda sluggish
Play with 5.13-6! I still get 1/3 the frames I get on Windows but at least it's playable at 40-80 FPS. With 6.3-5 I got 12 FPS max.
- Some DLL signatures are not signed 2. File integrity compromised when launching the game
Multi play is greyed out in the main menu
I can't achieve over 12 frames on the lowest settings. MP probably doesn't work either due to EAC.
Borderless wouldn't activate
Maxed out at 12FPS on lowest settings.
When launching the game, I get 2 errors. First one saying some of the DLLs are not signed and the other one saying file integrity of the game is compromised.
Très gros lags, des artefacts et impossible de jouer en ligne
Très gros lags
Lags, multijoueur ne fonctionne pas

its not playable and i'm getting too many different errors
Errors when i start the game: 1.Not all dll signatures are verified 2.File integrity compromised! Please verify your game cache.
in the game menu Multi play is off, and single play is less that 5 fps (i play rdr2 with 40-50 fps).
When i am trying to check integrity of files it stuck at 0 of 2 and keeps fulfilling the percentage but nothing will be changed.
Tried reinstall, restoring back up from a working game and searched more than 100 websites but nothing works!
In menu may have to disable ESYNC
IGameClient instance error at start.
Tested on proton 5.13-1 Alt-tab directly after launch to see the EAC pop up error (click ok), then game should work for single player. The game crash on "menu exit" though, prefer alt-f4 to quit.
(squad trick does not work: chmod -w ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/513710/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Temp)
Works out of the box, but very unresponsive controls
Frame rate is OK, but very sluggish controls, borderline unplayable

EAC Issue
Got an error and I had to restart computer. (A more experienced linux user would likely know how to terminate the game window though.)
If you're playing single player, Yes. If you're playing online, No.
Unable to access Online due to compatibility issues with EasyAntiCheat
Old Proton Builds and Custom TKG/GE builds do not fix compatibility issues with EasyAntiCheat
Singleplayer only. EAC kicks in multiplayer
Well yes if you do singleplayer stuff but as soon as you are online EAC kicks you around 10-15 seconds and really is annoying when you want to play with you friends. Forces you to reboot and run it in Windows. Real shame :(. Hate booting to Windows love my Arch Linux.
Opens an error window and freezes

Can't even get on the menu
I can get on the menu, just the loading screen and it gets an error which I can't really see, sad i just wanted to play offline

Unable to use it to play online with friends which is what I really want but otherwise offline it will run fine. EAC is broken which is what kicks you after around 10-15 seconds unfortunately. I did not see Proton 4.2.5 listed in my library. I wanted to try that because as one user said the game doesn't kick when running that Proton version?

The game runs pretty well, except for online, which you can play for about 10-ish seconds before EasyAntiCheat kicks you.

EAC has started kicking online play again.

Don''t know how or why but with Proton 4.2-5 it's working online, not getting kicked by EAC.

Runs great at 80/90 fps with the "UE4CommOpti" fps tweak on github.
