Works with the latest version (not experimental) of proton with no issues apart form an extended wait for steam to start compiling vulkan shaders from the initial launch and some noticeable tearing in game which might require forcing an FPS lock or vsync, but is a lot more stable then it is on windows where you have to force a 30 FPS lock in your GPU control panel specifically for this game to stop it from instantly crashing before it loads the title screen.

ASUS TUF Gaming A15 laptop with Linux Mint 21.2: Initially the game wouldn't launch. I had to switch to NVIDIA (Performance Mode) to use the dedicated GPU, only then was I able to launch the game.
Hilarious on-rails shooter that's just way better with a mouse
Flawless performance with no discernable issues.
Aside from controller config requiring the digital keyboard and mouse, the game runs perfectly.
Technicall not a launcher but an initial boot screen, controller config can only be navigated with the mouse and digital keyboard.
After configuring the gamepad inputs in the initial menu, when trying to exit the game the application will crash and not close.
This report was made after playing 10+ hours on the Steam Deck.
Finished without issues
After the second mission trying to access the Store(first time unlocked) it would crash without fail. Unsure if it's Linux specific as the game is known to crash on Windows.

Runs great, limited to 40fps to save battery.
I've completed shinobu's route, and had a lot of fun
The game runs flawlessly.
Works perfectly
Sometimes broken Japanese font rendering
Runs well OOB
Runs perfectly out-of-the-box

Runs perfectly. Eagle eyed players may see a small dip in framerate when many "targets" are onscreen, and there may be a few texture errors that are hard to see, but if you don't care about that, it isn't too immersion breaking anyway, you'll be great!

missing background

Requires .NET 4.5+, but runs perfectly using wine-mono, since .NET is tricky to install.
Download a recent wine-mono MSI from https://dl.winehq.org/wine/wine-mono/
Then use: WINEPREFIX=~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/511740/pfx wine64 uninstaller
and install the MSI from there. Game works perfectly then.

Needs .NET 4.5+ to work, see https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/1932

Will not launch. No work around found.

after installing the game wont boot

Crashes at launch. Apparently the launcher has some issues.
