Other than the minor inconvenience I listed, it works great
After a while of uptime on my compositor (Hyprland) the game fails to launch correctly, steam thinks it is running but nothing launches and there is no wine process. Restarting the compositor fixes this. I did a little bit of searching, it looks like it could be a wayland issue with the CAVE ports but I havent found any way to fully fix it yet.
works fine, except that slowdown may not be arcade-accurate

gamemoderun mangohud %command%
No issues at all. All slowdown is an intended part of the game itself, mimicking slowdown in the arcade version.
Works perfectly out of box.
Works fine. Works the same way most local multiplayer does.
Works perfectly out of the box. No issues found.

Perfect!
No issues.
Since I wanted to play sidewise I've adjusted left stick to move according to new orientation(so the menus and the gameplay all work fine when rotated to the right), I've also made L4 and L5 my shoot buttons, and L2 my bomb button.
The game uses very little power draw, with no TDP limits and at 60FPS the game gives close to 6 hours of gameplay.
With some in-game setup you can use most of your screen and play with SD rotated, which makes all the bullet hell action possible to do on small screen.

FPS Limiter set to 30 (breaks game speed)
With FPS limiter enabled on deck, game speed changes
See above, game speed halves using deck FPS limiter options. Should not be rated Plat for deck use.
Game doesn't run properly with frame limiter turned on in battery settings. Works normally with frame limiter off.
Work out of the box
Works out of the box
Game worked flawlessly both solo and in local multi with two DUALSHOCK 4.
Needs Proton 4.11 version to run smoothly
Seems to work perfectly out of the box for me
The only reason I'm listing the game in Tinker category instead of SteamPlay is because of a small problem that may have just been unique to me. The game refused to progress past the black window even after disabling DXVK like others recommended. Turned out the reason was that the game refused to launch when Daifukkatsu.ini file in the game folder was missing. Making a blank file with that name allowed the game to start and be configured.
As others have said, requires launch option: "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" Without it, it launches to a black screen and then crashes.
Game crashes without it.
Without launch option "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" game will not work. Just launches to a black screen and then crashes.
perfect!
Tested the latest proton
I've been playing the game for a while with Wine and Proton. Newest version works as good as always.

Everything worked perfectly out of the box, including Nintendo Switch Pro controller.

No issues.
