Native support and works right out of the box.
Hotline Miami 2 works right out of the box because it has native support. In a worse scenario, you can run the Windows version with Proton or Wine, but I haven't dealt with that issue.
No audio in native but running with forced exprimental fixed it.

No audio while playing native. Needed to switch to Proton Experimental for it to be fixed.

Did not try the workshop levels, but I don't see a reason for them not to work

Tourne bien sur version native
Pas de modifications à faire

Native Linux build refuses to launch. Forcing latest stable Proton (8.0-5 as of Feb 2, 2024) solves the issue.

Native works perfect out of the box
Just like the first game, this also needs mesa_glthread to be disabed on AMD GPUs with Mesa 23+
mesa_glthread=false %command%

Entire game can be played through on steam deck without any issues.
Native refused to pull up more than a brief black screen before crashing, but via Proton it ran just fine.

One of coolest native games ever created!
mangohud gamemoderun %command%

Just click on launch button and enjoy the game! :3
Works perfectly out of the box
Didn't need to do any tinkering
Native Linux game, runs perfectly OOTB.
This is a native Linux game, should run with zero issues on any distro.
Nothing to add. It worked perfectly fine. 0 issues. No tinkering needed.
GE is completely optional, and was only chosen here for raw mouse input. 7.0 was tested and functioned the same, aside from slower mouse input from my settings, which is shared with all games run with Valve Proton.
Runs perfect with no tweaks
Although native is supported, i'm using proton to take advantage of the cloud saves. Behaves like native anyways, so no reason not too
