The direction of audio for me is delayed, for example if I am in front of a character speaking and turn quickly so that they are on my right there will be a delay before the audio actually moves to the right speaker. You can change audio to mono in the game's settings.
To get the game to start for the first time, I had to delete steam/steamapps/compatdata/397540/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/My Games/Borderlands 3/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor. I haven't had to delete it again in order to get it to open.
