Can't move past the login screen without a controller connected, M+KB works fine from then on
Some stutters when starting a match, usually stabilizes after a few minutes

Smite 2 opens and runs as expected, however FPS suffers. On my computer, the game is still playable, even with the FPS drop.
Game runs about 30% worse compared to my Windows installation.

With the latest update March 10th 2025, the game started having FPS issues. Previously it was sitting at 144fps, capped by me from the frame limiter, atm struggling to keep 60 for no reason. Every other game works fine, this 0 day update broke something
Even if I turn on FSR3 which previously only broke the frame limiter and would go around 300fps, now cannot even match my refresh rate of 144hz (144fps)

After playing for like 1 hour or so, there are significant performance issues, which drastically affect gameplay and reaction time.
Unexpected crashes occasionally due to the game's not being optimized for Linux.

EAC error on main menu
I could not start the game as i have got a EAC login error every time i start the game - i have tried everything (diff proton versions) not working

Small issues with window and mouse settings, game runs well out of the box.
With fullscreen setting on, game only displayed cursor in correct place on the primary vertical monitor. Windowed modes with window in true fullscreen works, might be own configuration error.

Not able to run neither with DX12 nor DX11
Not able to start the game even with DX11. Tried proton 9.0.2, hotfix and experimental and gamemodrun %command%

The game freezes every few games to the point that I have to restart it mid-match. It doesn't make the game unplayable, as it doesn't happen all the time, but it is very disruptive when it does.

Zero problems out of the box (DX12 selected)
Steam default compatibility selected for that one !

They fixed it!
After retrying with the new Proton 9.0-4 version seems that the game is up and runnign without issues. Would have to test the multiplayer and play some matches to make sure everything works

Runs as expected
No problems out of the box with DX12

No running right now
I have tried running it with GE Proton, Proton Experimental, Proton 9 and 8 without luck. We would need to wait I guess

I mean: it's an online game, so this should work. No issues here. Finished 2 matches without any issues.
Using "Steam defaults" I could start the game but the mouse was not recognized. So I can't press buttons in the main menu nor aim, as the tutorial/video/intro was completed and a game started automatically. After switching to Proton 9 everything was fine.

If you have a good linux distribution, everything will work fine without adding any parameters.
120 fps on high game settings

SteamDeck=0 %command%
Añadiendo al lanzador el comando puedo jugar con raton y teclado.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
Runs with startup options, when you play VERY BIG texture problems, + character models not loading

Works great out of the box. On Fedora using Wayland, I did have to play using DirectX 11 which is an option the moment you click play in Steam. I did not have to do that on Pop!_OS though. Otherwise, great game and great playability.

<5 FPS Main Menu, Regardless of Settings
Tried several Proton versions including 9.0, Experimental, GE, but no luck so far... :(

El juego como esta ahora no sirve para la steam deck, por favor arreglen los controles para poder entrar.
"Failed to initialize dependencies" on launch
Works fine

Game breaks after EAC screen
The game breaks after EAC screen. I have EAC anti-cheat runtime installed and tried reinstalling, deleting cache, and deleting SMITE 1. Tried everything and nothing helps

Smite 2 Alpha
The alpha is more stable than Smite 1, runs buttery smooth.

Works fine OOTB
No issues here that are unique to linux

Works completely fine out of the box
