Enjoy ur game without thinkering :)

Click 'n' play
Runs great by defaults

Ran straight out of Heroic Games Launcher with no tinkering. No crashes, bugs or performance issues observed in first 10 hours of playing
Using both wired Logitec F310 controllers (set-up in jstest-gtk) and a bluetooth keyboard

Had to disable a mod that was causing occasional crashes (same mod didn't bring any troubles on PC)
Runs without issue

Tried various tweaks and Proton versions
Significant stuttering after ~20 minutes.

The game is extremely choppy at the beginning of each wave, eventhough the frames stay consistent at 144
The game works just fine and I didnt have any issues regarding windowing or fullscreen. For some weird reason gets extremely choppy at the beginnig of each wave and I couldnt fix that no matter which Proton version or what start options I use. Only thing I didn't try was using a different kernel, but I doubt that would change anything.

Absolutely no problems, running smooth and flawlessly.

Fullscreen is going to capure only 25% of the game screen. -> Workaround: Maximaze the splashscreen before the game fully launches lets it capture the full gamescreen.
Maximizing splashscreen before the game fully launches to have fullscreen.

I made an account here because I could NOT get this game to run at all. My computer runs many games, but this one couldn't. However, upon checking out the experiences of other games, (Walking Dead), people were saying that you needed to install it on your main HD, the one your OS is on. I uninstalled Brotato and installed it there and it worked just fine. Just letting everyone know. (also the game feels... SLIGHTLY choppy, its so insignificant it may just be me or an ingame effect so I didn't include it in the questionnaire).

Works out of the box
Did a handful of runs. Didn't do anything to make it run. Just enabled Steam Play then installed this game, and then run it.
Runs without any issues

works perfectly, aside from an easily fixable fullscreen issue
When the game was started in fullscreen, 3/4 of the scrren were black. Easy fix: maximise the game while it's starting (while the blobfish logo appears)

This is an update to my original report. I don't know if the 3/4 blackscreen-problem persists, because this issue never reappeared after exiting and reentering fullscreen via settings. However, the initial performance issues are gone now. I don't know why, as I have not played for a few weeks, but among other things I upgraded Nobara from 40 to 41. Now it runs like a charm with 60 FPS, no problems what so ever.

Whenever I wanted to play something quick on the deck, I always came back to this game. It runs flawless at 60 fps without any tinkering. I can even play it for 6h straight on battery if I wanted to, without making any optimizations (LCD deck here). This is definitely a good pick for the deck!
Great! No issues
Runs just as good as it did on Windows. Download, press play, there you go.

Second-long freeze sometimes happens (Some even make the OS totally unresponsive, requiring reboot). Typically happens in the menus/shop. (Only tested on multiplayer setting)

This was just an initial problem (3/4 black), when exiting fullscreen and entering again, it worked
The game runs horrible (30-40 fps) from wave 1. Neither the CPU nor the GPU have a load above 30% while playing. I noticed it runs way better when CLOSING both FIREFOX and DISCORD, but I mostly play with my sister over discord so this is rarely an option.
Game is very fun, but for me not playable when I want to talk to friends and family :(

crashed before it could save the round
crashes after every round
Launching in Fullscreen left 3/4 of my Screen black. Only in the upper left quarter the game was visible, but only the lower left part (1/4) of it. Works fine when selecting window mode through Nobaras taskbar. Right-clicking icon-> more -> unselect fullscreen

game-performance %command% -m -f
Tested local mulitplayers using two methods. 1) 2 controllers connected on same PC; 2) via Steam "Remote play together" function on 2 PCs. No issues being the host or guest.
Must use command option "-m -f", otherwise screen rendering got cut off and only show a small portion of the screen/menu.
Blobfish logo popped up for a split second, then crashed.
Even works on my hacked Chromebook that runs Debian.

-m -f
Launch command to fix full screen issue: -m -f Running in Wayland.

funciona 100%

While the game lunch ok in x11 env, it has issue initializing in wayland. The fullscreen only display a subset of the image. To workaround i use additionnal parameter -m -f to force it in fullscreen and it most of the time work (at worst a few restart of the game and it work).
trying to workaround in wayland the fullscreen init, using other mode to run it in compatibility mode it could break the remote play together.

Great performance, verified + platinum for a good reason

Switched to Proton Experimental
After install by Heroic Launcher and clicking PLAY nothing happened, then switched from Proton 9 to Experimental and instantly works, no issues, stable.

It seems I can workaround the 3/4 blackscreen issue by maximizing the window when initial logo page pops up. Works great afterwards.
also tried intel iGPU which has no issue.
