Had a couple stutters here and there, realistically, I don't think this is a Proton issue and more just a game issue, as this seems to be NITROPLUS' first 3D game.
Some graphical pop in, but again, I doubt this is a Proton issue.
Fun game so far. It is pretty rough around the edges and a little janky, however I expected this from what I believe to be NITROPLUS' first 3D game, a studio that primarily focuses on Visual novels, so it's a new realm for them.

The crashing was also happening for Windows systems, so ProtonGE may not be necessary. I was able to laungh the game fine with default settings.

%command% -dx12
While there's no Proton problems, the game itself has a few caveats that may need attention depending on hardware. While the game is running in DX11, CPU usage can become unreasonably high across all threads. Forcing DX12 gives more typical CPU usage. Certain effects hammer GPU hard regardless of game settings, which happens on Windows as well. One area of the game dropped me to 20 FPS until I reduced Post Processing to Medium. Shadows can be quite heavy. Medium keeps the game's look with the best performance. Running through props, and certain explosions hit GPU hard. Setting Effects to Low still doesn't help with that for my 6700 XT.

7 hours in, working perfect
No tinkering, just installed and started playing

installs, runs and plays well out of the box.
Graphics had to be set to low to get 60fps and there is sometimes a save stutter. but this is more down to machine spec.
