Just had to update the drivers on my nvidia gtx 1080 to the latest official nvidia ones and the game runs beautifully

Running on 6W as usual.
Almost OOTB apart from setting resolution.

SteamDeck=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Using TU106M [GeForce RTX 2070 Mobile / Max-Q Refresh] (rev a1) in Compute Mode. I see the game running on nvidia-smi. Nice that I don't have to switch modes and reboot.

Had to restart game several time to get desired resolution, as it freezed on certains.
Work perfectly except freezes when setting resolution.

Without the Steam Deck launch command, the game still remains unplayable with very low FPS on the stages
I already reported on this game the day it came out, but i wanted to test it again without the spoofing launch command and using the latest GE Proton version in case things changed for the Linux desktop... but nah, it's still the same lol. As other people stated, the launch command is necessary if you want to enjoy the game on non-Deck devices; in fact, I've been able to reach up to 144fps that way!
Also, the Gamemode command is not strictly required for a game like this, but I like adding it to all my games. Just remember to install the package from your distro's repos in case you want to try it out yourself :D

SteamDeck=1 %command%
The FPS was locked at a steady 30 FPS until i put it into Steam Deck mode by setting the launch option as: SteamDeck=1 %command%

SteamDeck=1 %command%
Unplayable framerate unless launch options are set.

Seems to crash for unknown reasons, usually after a level is finished, but it will sometimes happen during.

SteamDeck=1 %command%
Getting 10-15 FPS in game. Menus seem fine
Launch options that solve the issue for most players had no impact. Could not get a playable frame rate

There's a user agreement you have to tap the touch screen to get past when you first play. From my playtime, I think that's literally the only reason this is officially rated 'playable' not 'verified'

Does not launch on Linux PC
It may work on steamdeck but it didn't work on PC, even with the SteamDeck=1 %command% option. It won't even uninstall from Steam.

SteamDeck=1 %command%
Controller might randomly stop responding after an ALT+TAB

Runs flawlessly out of the box :)

Weird issue where crossplatform cloud saves worked initially between my Windows Desktop and native Linux version on the Deck, but then the save data on my Deck vanished and wouldn't resync. Switched to Proton Experimental on Deck to force the Windows version, Cloud Save syncs and encountered no other issues.

SteamDeck=1 %command%
Parroting everyone else here. Game is unplayable without the launch command. Framerate is incredibly low, audio is choppy, and input is laggy or completely misses the mark. With the launch command, it's flawless.
06/05 Played the first few levels @ 60 fps on steam deck. Was able to play it perfectly just like the first game. No special launch options
As other people mentioned, it runs perfectly fine with the "SteamDeck=1 %command%" launch command.
SteamDeck=1 %command%
Without the launch flag, it runs inside the levels only 20-25 FPS (everything else run between 60-144). With the launch flag everywhere runs with sweet 144 FPS (tried only with Vsync on).
Finished the game with every achievement.
Steam launch options: SteamDeck=1 %command%
Changing full screen options may black screen/crash the game.
Cloud saves don't sync.
Performance and GPU ultilization was not where it should have been, sub 30fps. Add "SteamDeck=1 %command%" to the steam launch options and this resolved my issue. Runs at 120fps all the time after this tweak. A github issue is opened for it where I found this tip. Hopefully it can be fixed via proton updates.
SteamDeck=1 %command%
Doesn't seem to like AMD desktop GPUs, not a 5700xt. Steam Deck was completely perfect though.
Fullscreen goes to black screen, unresponsive program sometimes when changing options. Also scaling to 4k looks blurry. Think it's the same bug as the previous game. https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Katamari_Damacy_Reroll#Incorrect_resolution_scaling_causing_pixelated_image_quality But restarting the game didn't resolve it. Setting to 1080p actually look better.
Cloud saves didn't show up on Steam Deck/PC and vice versa.
Game will run at 20fps in a level. Mango hud is shows that the GPU is at 800mhz and 19%. So appears to be an issue with something driver/AMD related on desktop.
SteamDeck=1 %command%
30fps in menu and about 10fps during the tutorial/gameplay BY DEFAULT
I have played this both on my Steam Deck and my linux laptop running Nobara 37. As others stated, the game runs with zero issues on Deck, but i had severe FPS issues on my laptop which made the game basically unplayable, BUT this can be solved by spoofing a Steam Deck by adding SteamDeck=1 %command% to the launch options. This makes the save selection menu to be sped-up, but the rest of the game runs at the correct framerate. Hope this issue can be solved anytime soon, but I found this to be the best solution (for now) to play this awesome game under Linux :)

When playing a level, I could not break 20fps without setting SteamDeck=1
. Now it runs great!
If you're resilient to low framerates and slowdown, it's fine, but I think it's just a bitt too much for most people.
Consistent low framerate in the main game - I estimate around 20 FPS on average. Did not see this slowdown in menus or cutscenes. It seemed to slow the whole game down a bit, because the seconds countdown was slightly slower than actual seconds, and the controls felt unusually sluggish. Additionally, it felt like there was some function that ran many times per second that caused a frame to last longer than it should - think 3 frames at 75 FPS, then a vanishingly short pause, followed by another 3 frames, etc, giving the effect of a low frame rate and slightly slowed down gameplay. Not sure if this is exactly whaat was happening, but that's what it felt like.
Terrible performance. Unplayable for now unfortunately
Around 10 FPS
Framerate during gameplay is poor, jittering, but never far from 20 FPS
Even after lowering all settings to minimum, the framerate did not noticeably improve
Hard to enjoy a game at 10fps
Couldn't get above 30 fps in menus, and barely above 10 fps in-game
Substantial slowdown of time while playing makes the game difficult to enjoy, even at very low settings.
Time dilation while inside stages makes the game very difficult to play.
