Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental
I had to start Pop_OS in "NVIDIA Graphics" or "Hybrid Graphics". Couldn't get it to run in "Compute Graphics."

SteamDeck=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Using TU106M [GeForce RTX 2070 Mobile / Max-Q Refresh] (rev a1) in Compute Mode. I see the game running on nvidia-smi. Nice that I don't have to switch modes and reboot.
