The game runs great out of the box, at high settings and 60fps. The issue is mostly that it only has limited AA and, because of it, its UI scales very poorly under 1080p. It is advised to force the game to output at 1080p (through SteamOS). It does not seem to particularly hinder performance, as the game still runs at a steady 60fps. Late-game areas, specific to the Royal edition, may caused dips as they were created for PS4 specifically, but so far so good.
I've read here that the virtual keyboard to input the character's name did not work but it showed up just fine in my case.

Error en sonido en modo pantalla completa
Sin sonido en pantalla completa
Funciona correctamente, pero tengo que ponerlo en modo ventana o no funciona el sonido, en modo ventana sin bordes funciona correctamente y el sonido se oye bien

Borderless Window Mode: tabbing out causes the game to hang for a 1-2 seconds and obscures the mouse cursor or moved over game window. Not experienced a full crash yet

Degradation in FPS Over Time
Likely linked to the performance drops, audio will sometimes halt for a second, or dialog will halt while the rest of the game catches up.
While the game does start at a solid 70 FPS, it takes less than five minutes of even running the main menu for it to drop to below 10 FPS. Changing the graphical settings (i.e. resolution) does not seem to have an effect. This does seem to suggest a memory leak of some kind, but no notable changes in CPU usage or memory usage have been noticed.
This is a recent problem. No issues of this kind appeared when previously tested three months ago. Furthermore, this issue was not noticed in other games such as Hogwarts Legacy.
So far, this behavior has not been observed on the Steam Deck.

Some minor fullscreen mode shenanigans, use borderless windowed mode

Works perfectly!
No issues, just install and click play.

Work great out of the box, just install and click play
On rare occasion, when it's on sleep for too long it freezes, I'm not really sure what causing it, but it seems that it's pretty random

stutter on the animation and fight
constant stutter
I Already tried with Proton Experimental, Proton 9.0-4, Proton GE I tried changing the commands but the stutter persist

worked right out the box :)

Game didnt launch on NTFS, but ran fine on EXT4

(none)
Only thing I had to change was to enable Steam Input in Game Properties > Controller - otherwise my PS5 dualshock controller wasn't picked up.

On Proton Experimental, when playing in borderless windowed mode, the KDE taskbar did not hide anymore (switching to 9.0-4 fixed that)
No real issues, apart from Proton experimental suddenly causing issues with the taskbar

Occasional crashes when playing with power saver mode enabled and opening analysis menu in-battle. After turning off power saver, I had no crashes after 80+ hours

Alt-tabbing seemed to freeze the game, fixed with gamescope
Use gamescope to fix the alt-tab issue.
Works out of the box with whichever version of proton have fun its a nice game

60hz in overlay, 60fps lock in-game.
Map is a little small, other than that, not really. Compared to Metaphor, this game is far more handheld friendly.
16:9, but runs really well. Things are a little too aliased, but that's a problem with all versions of this game (unless you super sample to higher res). 10-14w power draw and 3-4hrs battery life.

The game runs perfectly no lag, no visual or audio degradations, its really just freezing and crashing because of gameplay unrelated reasons
gamemoderun %command%
Alt tabbing will freeze the game and the only way for it to go back is forcefully shutting it down, doesn't matter if its fullscreen, borderless or even window.
Connecting a controller or headset or something else while the game was already running would cause it to freeze and need a force shutdown

On Hyprland, tries to follow to other workspaces, only stopping when trying to close the game and then changing
Worked out of the box, installed and played. 100% achievements no issues.

I personally use Proton-GE for all my games, but i've yet to encounter an issue with Persona 5 Royal on any Proton variation
It just works.

Initially had performance problems where the game would not go above 40fps and all hardware monitoring programs showed GPU usage at 100%. The lag would start after all of the opening cutscenes.
Realized the issue was that my GPU would randomly switch to using only 1 lane. Had to update my BIOS (have an MSI B650 Gaming Plus WIFI mobo). After I did this the game is buttery smooth 120fps @ 1440p with 200% texture quality.

Works great on desktop out of the box

Made right trackpad a mouse to make it easier to interact with network disconnect dialogue when docked with an external display.
Sometimes when there were network blips (or after waking from sleep), a popup would show saying the game has disconnected and I'd have to either use the touch screen or trackpad to dismiss it. You can reconnect in the game's settings menu.
Ran on medium graphics system on 60 fps. Had to reverify files cuz everytime Futaba's all-out attack activated, the game will give a black screen. Other than that game ran fine.

I had a weird issue with this game running at 15fps even on high performance mode. I searched the entirety of the internet for a solution (most suggest using dxvk-async, but it didnt work for me...), until I found out that my GPU was running without bus acceleration - on a x1 lane instead of a x16 lane. Changed the config on the BIOS (enabled pciexpress 3.0, for newer motherboards probably 4.0), and it went back to normal. This was quite obscure to figure out.

Runs fabulously out of the box
I ran the game without anything extra, but I recommend using GE-Proton or Proton Experimental with gamemode on any game you run in Linux. Nothing much to say here, the game runs with no issues regardless of those things.

The audio cracks a lot. It isn't a major problem, but it can hurt a bit your immersion sometimes.

gamemoderun %command%
Didn't see anywhere reported online, but for me it would not launch if it was installed on a NTFS drive. After moving game install to another drive it launched just fine

Great experience OOTB without tinkering
Nearly constant 120FPS with some dips to about ~90FPS in some graphic intense scenes. Resolution does not go up from 1920x1080, but it seems it was design like that.

Perfect on RTX 3050 on Fedora
Plays at 120FPS at 1440p max settings. The only setting that ever caused my GPU fans to spin up was render scaling set to 200% at 1440p. At 1080p it was completely fine going to 200%, and at 1440p you don't really even need it.
