Tested for 4+ hours with new world modifiers, events and race; but not new biomes (need to refresh to new cycle.)
Game still runs flawlessly on 1.8 pre- and post- day 1 hotfix: played 3 full P20 games. Using my save from before the update.

After a period with crashes with showing a window titled "Against the Storm - Unity 2021.3.2711_ca3ffb99bcc6" I've found the correct settings.
In my case NO gamemodrun is needed (if added crashes persist)

After a long period with crashes showing a window titled "Against the Storm - Unity 2021.3.2711_ca3ffb99bcc6", it works again with the additional settings
Flawless Experience
Games saves imported properly from Windows to Linux.

Without the launch option for D3D, the game didn't recognize my graphics card and was unplayable. I tested proton 9.0-4, experimental, hotfix, and 10.0-1 beta all with the same result.
Worked OOTB
Just turn on Proton in settings and leave defaults (which is Proton Hotfix). Works perfectly.
Crashes while loading into main menu if Experimental is not picked. But works great with Experimental.
Game does not open again if it becomes minimized.
Can't get any better. Click to play.
Really nothing worth of note. It just works™️
The game works great on Linux, by default.
The only tip I have is for people that use 2 or more monitors on their PC, as is my case, because if you do son, you'll need to open the game settings and activate a checkbox that says something like "anchor mous to game window"; this will prevent that your mouse goes to another monitor when scrolling through a map in the direction of your other monitor.
Works great with Intel Arc B580
Works just as well with Arc B580 as it did with my old graphics card. Perfect out of box experience.
My best layout is using the right trackpad as a mouse, clicking with the right trigger and adding some useful commands (slowing or accelerating, wood to cut on the back triggers)
Sometimes can be a bit tiny, but I have glasses so i think it's average text size
As it's a "slow" builder, it's adapted to mouse trackpad, i really recommend you give it a shot.
The continue button on the end of mission just saves the game, but doesn't close the window. I needed to forcefully close the game and start it again

Also, very good game for anyone that is still on the brink of buying! The dev team is super open to feedback.
