i am the one who made the repo, and made the script and told poeple on valves repo to use my repo instead.
please do not use the script i submitted to the lutris website, they messed it up. install it manually using guidance in the repo. afther dll overide in script, not a single issue playing on amd. for nvidia users, there may be some artifacting.

Requires a recent kernel (got stuck at login on 6.11.7, works on 6.15.2). Works with the Lutris script, does not get past launcher through steam.

Using the Lutris guide provided, was able to run Strinova without major issues. About 90% of the PC version for graphics.
Used the Strinova Linux Lutris script or use the Github and actually got the game to work.

Fullscreen is broken, borderless fullscreen is limited to my 2nd monitor's refresh rate so I'm stuck playing at 60hz instead of my main 170hz.
Performance is good, just slightly worse than on Windows.
You have to use the non-Steam/Epic install that you get from the Strinova website. Get Lutris, install the latest Wine-Staging-Tkg runner (using the ProtonPlus app makes it super easy), install the game with the standalone installer, and MOST IMPORTANTLY you must open the game's wine registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug , set string Auto to 0 and winedbg to nothing. I get some error pop up about a missing tdh.dll but if you put it away on a different display and don't click it then you're fine.

Game works perfectly fine after some tweaking. First download launcher from official site and open it with wine ( mine was 10.4 version). It unpacks some files and then starts the launcher. It won't work on my version 10.4 so you need to set in winecfg to launch it with win7 compatibility or try another older wine version. When launcher downloads all files add this folder to lutris library and set in lutris wine version to 10.7 (it's very important!). There will be another problem with wine debuging. I found in github fix for that. You need to open wine registry and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug and set string Auto to 0 and winedbg to nothing. The only problem that i have is window with some error. Do not click anything from that window just move it to another window or whatever.

crashes after a minute of launching the game. finally a dead game T o T
не прокатило

tried to launch it using the youtube video but no worky
wawawawa
Launcher opens, but the start button never starts the game

main menu and intro videos don't play
sometimes the cursor appears on screen and camera doens't pan, just click when that happens
please watch my video and read the description https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpztGzoPCUg also smart wine/linux people read the description, maybe you can find a better way

Лаунчер стартует. Игра не запускается

ACE doesn't work.
I really wanted to play this but it seems that ACE (the anti-cheat) doesn't let us play on Linux. Strinova, please swap your anti-cheat solution or tell them to get their act together and support Linux properly.

The launcher starts, however when you click to play; nothing happens.
Non playable

As of the release of 10.5 staging tkg the game is still borken.
should work on the steam deck though
Launcher opens, game does not. Currently Unplayable.

ACE, kernel level anti cheat at play. Steamdeck hardware locking
should just on steamdeck but nothing else

The launcher starts but the game doesn't
Tried several Proton versions and no luck. The devs are thinking about adding anti-cheat support, I'll update this if they do. Dev statement in a Linux support Steam Discusison: "The reason why we can't implement steamdeck and linux yet is because the anticheat has a system conflict, causing crashes. When we resolve this we will announce it."

Opens to launcher only.
Game doesn't open when clicking start. It only closes and reopens launcher. Launcher music also does not work.

Still wont auto log in
Game does not launch from the launcher

Get to launcher but can not enter game
Could not launch the game even with trying to run a combination of proton versions and environment variables to appear as a steam deck. The combination I did try was Proton experimental,9,8,Ge-9 and SteamDeck=1 %command%
, On both steam and website version of the game. If you have task manager you can see the game launch but crash shortly after.

Can't get past the launcher, game won't launch.
I have tried SteamDeck=1 %command% (since people on steamdeck could run the game) and different proton versions, no luck. I suspect the game isn't launching due to ACE Anticheat, and I think it’s performing a hardware check rather than a kernel check. Someone here was able to run this game on a Steam Deck, different distro - not SteamOS nor a valve compiled kernel

Non Fonctionnel
L'instation se passe bien, le Launcher se lance, mais il est reste bloqué sur lancement.

Crashes after about a minute after you go from the launcher
I didn't believe that it ran on steam deck but not PC, so I dusted off my PC and I can confirm - it does actually get past the launcher on steam deck and into gameplay. However it crashes 1 minute after loading into gameplay every time.

Borked
gamescope -W 1280 -H 800 -f -r 60 -- %command%
Based on reports of it working on Steam Deck, I tried to emulate a steamdeck as best as I could but no luck.

The launcher opens, but when you press on Start, it just closes and sometimes re-opens the launcher.

borked
like other reviews before this state the only results you get by switching versions is immediately crash to the launcher or 'please run this game through steam', i read comments about there being kernel lvl anti-cheat but only for the china installation didnt see evidence of there being one for the other regions but def possible bc borked xd play next

Launcher opens, game itself never launches
Changed to multiple different versions of proton all with no effect on the outcome, launcher minimizes to tray and gets stuck on "launching".

Can install and run game launcher but it all.
Can't run game further then game laucnher. When press play game launcher closes than waiting about 30 seconds and game launcher opens again. It repeats about 3-5 times, then game fully closing. Tried with default Steam Proton, ProtonGE, wine, bottles and lutris. Not working at all.

After 2-3 mins game crashes, in game or in menu
Game used to run fine, but now crashes constantly, Tried other proton versions and uninstall reinstall with no sucess

Doesn't get beyond the launcher
Not working

Fullscreen just windows your game
Will not auto login
Since after a while it stopped working on the steamdeck I tried again installing the official website app and it works fine as of now and no issues gameplay wise

On the steam forums however the devs have said that they are planning on linux / steam deck official support in the future so I would keep an eye on this game.

Crashing
Sadly after switching from steam's proton to GE proton it was better, because the videos now actually load, but after like half a minute, it would close it self I wasn't able to finish even the tutorial.

Switching to ProtonGE/ProtonExperimental
launcher music is missing
crash after ~2mins of playing/in menu
unable to play due to crashes

Can confirm that it works on steam deck yet does not work on a regular linux pc.

Can't launch game via launcher
Doesn't work at this time

Back grip buttons for paper abilities and floating
Works on Steam Deck OLED with Bazzite installed (no Steam OS).

The game doesn't run on desktop yet :(
You may want to try streaming it via Steam Link if you have a PC and a Steam Deck. Sounds like a crutch, but hey, what works, works.
It worked on my Steam Deck that uses non-Valve distro (Bazzite). So maybe there is a hope.

Game does not launch from the launcher.
SteamDeck=1 %command%
Installed DirectX via protontricks, since the installer bundled with the launcher failed for me.
Hitting "Start" on the launcher just hangs -- the launcher will say "Launching," but the game never launches. I tried Proton 9.0-3 and GE Proton 8-31, and tried the SteamDeck=1 command (since someone here said it ran on the Steam Deck). None of those worked for me.
