Frame limit set to 40FPSS (80Hz), TDP Limit set to 5 Watts, GPU Clock set to 700 MHz
Other than changing the power settings to save battery, the game ran perfectly out of the box.
Once or twice it took a few minutes to load the game's menu, but aside from that I did a 100% achievement playthrough and had no issues.
After waking from suspend, the music speed greatly increased and had to restart the game.
Works well. Didn't need to change anything. Had no problems.
Wayland is great
Did switch distros from X11 to wayland and screen tearing is a thing of the past for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games.
No audio on Proton 7.0-3 or Experimental
Works right out of the box. A SNES USB controller worked flawlessly and is highly recommended for a better experience vs M+K.
You have to sit on the loading screen for what feels like 10 minutes, but the game runs perfectly fine otherwise.
Completed the game without any issues.
Sometimes the DS controller takes a minute to be detected, then works perfectly.
Completed the game with no issues.
Everything was running great, no difference from Windows. The best part was my games carried over thanks to cloud file saves.
The only issue I came across was during installation. It froze at one point after stating it was completed. I closed the install sub-window and relaunched it, and everything was fine.
GPU/Drivers not listed properly in my profile. Currently using Nvidia Quadro M2000 with drivers 470.63.01. I'm not entirely sure why it's not reporting correctly - I'll look into that another time.
Works fine on proton 5.0-10
Lag inside cities, but ok inside buildings
Game doesn't start
Mods via file replacement (font fix) or hex edits (framerate) seem to work.

Used Proton Experimental; using 6.x left me at the "Now Loading..." prompt for a long time, not sure if a fluke.
Very few dropped frames when fading in for initial sequence, could not reproduce

Locks up about once every hour or two in battles, but otherwise great
Not sure if the hanging is due to Proton, or due to poor coding on Square's side. It spits out a NPE, which is typically a bug in the code, not WINE/Proton
Just like with the other three, this one works out of the box with no problems.
And, just like with the other three, I can also report that I found no issues at all with somewhat common problems like controller support, low performance, windowing, etc.
