No tinkering needed to run using Proton Experimental on latest Steam version, but the game is GPU-heavy at the moment
Running not so smooth on RX 7600 with 6.15 Fedora's 42 default kernel, playable with Low settings at 2k resolution with FSR3 at quality level enabled.

Runs out of the box, no tinkering required.

Exactly what you hope for from an early access game on linux. Faultless.

Lots of stuttering when action gets intense.
Didn't really change much, just set proton-cachyos and ran.

-dx12
Crackling during cutscenes
Does not boot up unless I run apt install amdvlk
prior to opening the game, throws a vulkan pipeline error, then I uninstall those drivers when I'm done. You can do a two-driver setup if you wish, I just only need it for this game so I don't.

Use 100% of graphics

PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_NVAPI_ENABLED=1 %command%
Constant lagging, not matter the graphic settings.
The only problem that I have is the constant lagging in the game. It starts realy smooth and then it starts to lag. After that it constantly flip flops between the two states.

Game crashes after launch -- Unreal Engine 5 + DX12 not working under Proton
PROTON_LOG=1 mangohud %command% -Log -nomovie -NoSplash
Game doesn't launch properly on Linux. Tested with GE-Proton10-10, Proton 9.0-4 and Proton Experimental on Debian (NVIDIA RTX 3070).
Launch options: PROTON_LOG=1 mangohud %command% -Log -nomovie -NoSplash
With PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 → game crashes with Unreal Engine error.
Without it → game starts and silently exits.
Log shows EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in d3d12core.dll.
Game requires DX12 and crashes in Unreal Engine 5. Not playable as of now.
Waiting for fix in future Proton/GE update.
Game installs, but crashes after launching due to unhandled exception in d3d12core.dll. Vulkan working fine, tested with GE-Proton10-10 and Proton 9.0-4. Unreal Engine starts and exits silently. Needs DX12 support updates.

The game doesn't run smoothly at high resolutions, but it works great on medium settings.

Upon launch, game is windowed and will eventually move to full screen. Lags all over the place, and no controller support that seems to be enabled, despite the steam page claiming controller support.
Works well without any tinkering. No major FPS drops or other performance problems.
Smooth as butter. Buy install PLay
Wayland crashed, causing mouse to not work. Everything seemed to work in Xorg correctly.
Controller button presses are sometimes counted multiple times each

Works perfectly fine, no adjustments needed.

just works
.

Game after initial start fallback to iGPU instead dGPU

Game text is too small
Isn’t optimized enough for comfortable gameplay
The game runs quite poorly on the Steam Deck, around 25 FPS on low settings. Frame generation seems broken and actually makes it worse. Due to the low settings, the surrounding world doesn’t look great. I hope the game gets optimized in the future, because I don’t see graphics that should cause such lag—I think it’s an optimization issue. The overlay shows that the main load is on the GPU, almost always at 100%, while the CPU is only at 40–50%. There are also minor controller issues, but those are forgivable and will likely be fixed soon.

Everything worked out of the box.
It just works
Slight frame dips, but can be expected for "Early Access" title. Average 60fps @ medium @ 2560x1440p, but also maybe due to lack of VRAM (8GB) and older hardware. Running game natively, no DLSS. This game is very GPU hungry; avg GPU load 95% (7.7GB/8.0GB Usage) Other than that, the game works fine out the box!

Seems to work well enough with the Early Access (EA) version aside from some common EA pains

controller cursor is invisible in abilities menu, works fine when switching to mouse
Graphics performance is rather mediocre. But looking at general reviews that is probably game related and not Proton related. Plays well aside from the cursor bug in the abilities menu.

After creating a new character the cutscene was missing, I switched to proton GE to fix it. Have been running fine since

It just works.
Just tested runnability, haven't played very far. Works out of the box.

Run great out the box
Running 80fps average dropping to 60fps at points. Ran auto detect settings and using a mix of epic and high at 2k.

The only issue I experienced was the game locking up when opening the inventory when in Windowed Fullscreen. Didn't happen in Windowed nor Fullscreen mode, and could be an artifact of me using 150% scaling on the desktop.

runs flawlessly
