Change graphics settings to medium for optimal battery life.
Audio would start crackling if left in sleep mode for too long.
In desktop mode, alt-tabbing results in the game window bugging out, making me either change the display size and back, or restart the game entirely.

An old but gold game, runs flawlessly on Steam Deck with great performance and battery life
By setting the graphics setting to "Middle" preset in game and setting TDP to 5W, you can easily get locked 60fps with around 7-8 hours of gameplay on Steam Deck OLED.

The battery lasts a reasonable amount of time at 90fps, perfect for Steam Deck OLED.

Works perfectly, and has options for nintendo/playstation button icons which is nice

No tinkering or adjustment needed. Just start and play.

Locked to 45 fps. Lower can create ghosting and choppiness.

Tried some settings found here "Set FPS limit to 45FPS, reduced TDP to 8W, set GPU clock to 600MHz" but I ended up getting better battery life by setting TDP to 6W and setting GPU clock to default.
The game can easily run at 60+fps on maxed out settings but I limited it to 45fps for better battery life.

Set FPS limit to 45FPS, reduced TDP to 8W, set GPU clock to 600MHz. Works perfectly with 6+ hours per charge (OLED)
Does not support Steam Deck's native resolution, so limited to 1280x720.

I play on an external monitor when plugged in at 120 fps. When handheld, I lock 40 hz / 40 fps and get about 3-3.5 hours of battery, although the game has weird ghosting at this refresh rate.

Corre estable a 60fps sin modificar nada en el juego, recomiendo totalmente modificar el TDP y GPU clock para una mayor autonomia de la bateria
For me what worked was installing: wmp9 devenum vcrun2015 d3dx11_43. Installing quartz actually BROKE the game. Installing xact didn't break it but i found it unnecessary. If you have any audio problems you should probably also install it.
40 fps refresh rate

Set maximum screen refresh rate to 50hz when on battery
The game wouldn't register left inputs on the right stick when I had the left stick pointed upwards.
The game ran well on battery power, and was able to be played at 1080p connected to an external display without any noticeable issues or framerate drops.

Changed resolution to 960x600. Switched to windowed mode.
In Steam Deck performance options set frame limit to 40 FPS(40 Hz), turned on half rate shading, set TDP limit to 9, set GPU clock to 600 MHz. Turned FSR on with sharpness 2.
Runs amazingly well with default settings. Battery life was a little underwhelming with default settings, about 2 hours, but with some adjustments I now get around 4.
No changes are needed for the game to run well but would definitely tinker a bit for better battery life.

Frame Limit: 60FPS/60Hz TDP Limit: 6 Watts Manual GPU Clock Frequency: 200
Game will not remain set to windowed mode in between sessions.

game skip cutscene and audio or give blackscreen use protontricks to install wmp9 devenum vcrun2015 xact d3dx11_43 quartz after install cutscene and audio work flawless
TDP limit to 4watt stable at 60FPS
souce: https://redd.it/hljhks

Played most of the game with 8 watt TDP at smooth 60 but game was perfectly playable at 3-5 watts 40hz if you want to conserve battery
Audio would rarely begin to crackle after putting the console to sleep for a while before picking back up.
As expected for a game that was originally on the vita, this was a fantastic experience on the deck. Ran beutifully at max settings 60fps, though this being a turn-based rpg you certainly don't need the framerate and I still had a good time on the rare occasion that I bumped down the 40hz. Deck was reporting about 5-6 hours of battery life which was more than enough for my play sessions. An all around great time on deck just like the rest of the persona series.
Cutscenes were not been shown on the screen, only audio

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8.dll=n,b" %command%
99% of mods on GameBanana work but strangely some specific mods like "Dojima's Coffee" will always crash. Only certain builds of P4G CEP kinda work, I'd recommend just downloading all the Mods individually.
Launch P4G at least once then use Protontricks to download the prerequisites needed for Reloaded II into the P4G prefix. Launch Reloaded II using Protontricks in P4G's prefix, click on P4G on the left, (click add application if it's not there), edit application, and set the path to P4G.exe. Go to Advanced Tools, enable auto inject, and click Deploy ASI Loader. Make sure you set the launch settings in Steam. If it's crashing try removing mods until you find the problem. Majority of them work, load order matters and one mod might be overwriting another if they aren't showing up.

The game worked great on my steam deck so far (first few days in game)

Set a framerate limit of 30 and used halfrate shading.
Did some minor tweaks for battery and tweaked color saturation with VibrantDeck using the decky plugin loader. Been playing it roughtly halfway through between steamdeck and windows pc using cloud saves.
Wouldn't recommend for extended periods of being offline. This game would be perfect for long trips but Sega/Atlus just refuses to remove the DRM so you can only be offline for about a week or less before it requires internet to play again.
After 90 hrs of gameplay and beating the story, I haven't found any issue. Works out of the box
Enabled back grip buttons for taking screenshots
Setted TDP to 10W
Played the story all the way up to the true end with japanese VA. I didn't encounter any issue, the game worked flawlessly.
TDP to 10W
Very rarely after wake-up sound can crackling. Restarting game solves the issue

Configured to run at the medium preset but setting the rendering scale to 150%.
The game will run in fullscreen by default and does not save the user's previous display/resolution configuration.
I recommend running the game in windowed mode and upscaling the game with FSR with a value of 1 or 2 for graphical sharpness.
Turned refresh rate down to 45hz, set TDP to 8 and GPU clock to 600
Game crashed once after loading a quicksave and trying to fuse personas. Hasn't happened again.
Japanese audio issues seems to be fixed, as are the weird stutters (like on all-out attacks). Game can't be launched more than once without internet, which sucks for a handheld game, but it's still fun when Atlus does let you play the game you bought.
After the new performance update the fan is louder and the battery drains faster. I changed the battery to 5 watt, the fps to 45 and the gpu to 600 to get the same battery life of 5h30min like before the update
After the new performance update of Persona 4 Golden the fan gets louder and the battery drains faster. I changed the battery to 5 watt, the fps to 45fps and the gpu to 600 to get the same time out of the battery like before the update without any stuttering.
You can briefly circumvent the offline mode play issue by making sure to launch the game once in online mode before you set the deck to offline mode and leave the house. Obnoxious and unnecessary restriction. Not suitable for extended (longer than a couple days) of offline mode play, i.e do not buy before deployment overseas or something
New 1.04 update patch seems to fix the FMV and audio issues. The new JP/EN audio switch setting now works as intended. If you're using GE-Proton at you first launch it still requires a bit waiting for the game to load.
If you have any issues after the update, try deleting the proton files/compdata files and launch again.

40fps/40hz, FSR on, Tearing on and Power Limit set at 9
Controls well, Performance is good and it looks good to. You can play this game without changing a single thing, I made a few additions for better battery life though. If you are looking for a JRPG for the Steam Deck check out Persona 4 Golden, it is very Steam Deck fridnly just press Play.
过场动画是英语,无法设置为日语,需要使用ProtonGE
the anime is English, can not be Jepenese.Need use ProtonGe to fix
假如你使用ProtonGE运行游戏,提示应用程序崩溃,或者提示K-Lite解码器版本问题。请删除/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compdata/1113000文件夹,然后重新运行。期间会在steam logo停留较长时间,这是ProtonGE在下载组件。若时间过长可能是网络不行,尝试使用toMoon或Clash魔法上网
If you run with ProtonGe, Application Crashed after logos or K-Lite Version trouble. Delete /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compdata/1113000 and run again. When you start to run, you may stay at steam logo for a long time. That's ProtonGE download someting, that may take some time. If take too much time(over 20min), you may need ToMoon/Clash to improve your network.
