The game is good, and through some other reports, I think the game is fine for most, it must be something wrong on my end, i don't know.

The game is skipping frames every 1 second approximately. It is downright almost unplayable, it didn't happen before they updated the anticheat though.
I can't play the game the way it is right now, unfortunately, but, hopefully I can fix it soon or it is fixed soon.
I can launch the game in the PTB but EAC is still bugged and doesn't launch.

It is a little buggy while launching but then after the intro it returns to normal, everything goes smoothly but in the end EAC is still not initialised or something. BHVR is almost doing it, hoping to see it working in the next update!! :D

Hopefully they'll fix this for the next dlc released. One of my favorite games to play on M&K but a pity that doesn't run on linux just yet. Can't get past the initial menu. "EAC not initialised."

It's easy to get it up and running, download the latest proton eac runtime, proton-bleeding-edge, and it's good to go.

I lost my saves, somehow. I'd say it's probably a steam fault, not proton.
Sometimes I can't get it to run online, it stays stuck in the eac loading screen, but sometimes it works flawlessly. Not sure how to rate this game.

The game doesn't like xmonad for some reason. You can't start the game because it tried to get focus or something all the time and in the end it crashes your X session, the way around it is using gamescope or virtual desktop.
The game at first worked normally besides that, but after some time, the game wouldn't launch. It crashes with coherent ui gpu thingy. I never managed to fix it and honestly have no idea why it happens. But there is the launch argument, which I thought at first didn't work, because the game got stuck on the Initializing window. After much digging and changing DE's and WM's, I discovered that it didn't actually get stuck on Initializing, it went to the menu but it didn't update the window, so after ticking on the autologin in the transparent client, it now runs but I can only see it ingame and not the launcher. I'm giving it another try on xmonad right now with gamescope as before I was using gnome.
The game is good, can't deny that, the only problem is that it doesn't like my setup.

Game doesn't save properly, when switching devices the skillers in the stamina region just disappear. But that's not a linux bug.
It's a pretty nice game, I edited app.asar so that I could hack in some gems and eyes for the afterlife. Too expensive to buy.

Game wouldn't launch on 7-55 proton GE. game started but nothing appeared on proton 9.05, game only worked for me on proton 8.

Even though it seems like I'm getting better results with Linux than Windows, Mangohud is showing 100% GPU use, I don't know what's up with that, but watch out.
ASYNC makes the game faster, so just profit. This is the game I play the most with my friends, it's pretty fun.

In my experience with my computer and my friend's, game crashes frequently on Plasma and on XMonad, on xfce the crashes are mostly gone, awesomewm also seemed to not crash. I'm now running Gnome and those types of crashes are also not appearing. I have some stuttering while on the new pvp queue thing, after some time underwater the game freezes and comes back when the battle starting.
The game sometimes randomly complains about missing DLL's and other nonsense things, it then forces me back to steam and does some shenanigan that even steam doesn't know what it's happening, it doesn't say if it is updating or checking files or whatever. usually that takes 5 minutes on my hardware and that is a considerably long time while fighting. (if I don't click on the ok window the game keeps running behind it).

It would be excellent if steam itself didn't have some bugs, or it's sea of thieves, either way. Sometimes I can't join friends from the friendlist, sometimes they can't join me, so if I perhaps had found a good server with a fort of fortune, I would have to give it up because they can't join.
Sometimes steam is just unresponsive but idk if that is my hardware, steam itself, or sea of thieves, like, I can't click on my friends on the friendlist when I shift+tab..
The game has some known problems while running on HDD, same on Windows and Linux, the textures just don't load and the game is pretty much unplayable. I had some problems in the past but now on a full-ssd system, that issue is gone.
I don't really tried playing it on windows for some time now, but it is the same framerate if not better.

After install the game is almost unplayable for the most part. I think it renders the areas as you go through them, so the first time seeing something will drop your framerate to 1 but after that will not lag anymore.
Online work as intended.
It took 3~5 hours to compile vulkan shaders the first time I launched the game (after installing). I didn't reboot yet but it shouldn't that long after a couple times it did that processing part.

Input seems to be a little laggy, but it could be just my brain being slow.
Went to a Survival mission on Void, met with a guy, and we did some cetus bounties. Pretty good time.
DXVK_ASYNC is key. It makes the game run stutter free (which would happen the first time loading an area)
