Swear this is black magic. The game ONLY WORKED with Proton7.0-6 with my case. Not Proton8.0-4, not GE-Proton8-16, not Proton Experimental.
From a quick glance, games looks fine to play.
Alt-Tab really slows the game down. Don't do it.
Can only load the game using Proton7.0-6. Title screen comes, EA confirmation code popups and then crashes when trying to press send code.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I just can't play the game.
Stable performance after a quick gameplay.
Worked perfectly well for me straight out of the box.
Like calfyn said, I had the "The folder is not writable" error. The solution to this is to run the setup.exe with Wine in the steamapps/common/Zenimax Online folder. Setup should take a really short time, you might even think that it crashed (which i did) but no. It only installs ~200mb of launcher even though it said 20GB. Anyways, after setup is done, copy the "Launcher" folder in your .wine/drive_c/ProgamFiles(x86)/Zenimax Online and paste it inside the Zenimax Online folder in steamapps. Finally, run the game through steam and the game will open. Use Proton 4.11 for installation in order to get rid of blackscreens.

Thanks to @Tarrare ! Given command line arguments actually make it run AND also not crash in the beginning! For AMDGPU driver. Other command line arguments either made the game crash at launch (assert error), or just give the DX12 error.
