Also used Steam Proton 9.0.4, works flawlessly too. I just personally prefer GE-Proton.

Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton9-26, winetricks
Tried running it via Steam Proton, mouse and keyboard input would register, but buttons were uncklickable. No such problem on GE-Proton.
