HELLDIVERS 2
The white border on window borderless is incredibly annoying to me, some people might be able to bear with it. I use a fix on KDE.
Tinker Steps:Set launch options
%command% --use-d3d11
Windowing:Other
As many have said, borderless window draws a white border on the screen. I have a fix for this on KDE below. I haven't tried peramenently using "Fullscreen" mode as I prefer borderless window, and I've seen launching the game with Fullscreen crashes it, and I'd prefer not having to mess with my save file.
Significant Bugs:
My social menu is half broken, my steam friends dissappear, 1/0 friends online, etc. Other people have experienced this issue, though from investigation it does not appear to be Linux specfic. Inviting through the steam overlay should work.
Fix to have a "Borderless Window" experience on KDE without any white borders:
- Set the game to windowed mode, with your respective montior resolution
- Open System Settings, then go to Window management>Window Rules
- Create a new rule, set it above all others, if any
- Confiugure the rule like so:
- Description: Anything you desire, this will be the name on the list.
- Window class: Set to Substring match, then on the field type
steam_app_553850 steam_app_553850
- Match whole window class: Yes
- Window types: All
- Window title: Substring Match, type

- Click Add Property, Poistion. Set to "Force". This depends on your resolution and multi-screen setup if any. If you only have a single monitor, 0x0 would work fine. If not, use "Detect Window Properties" with a fullscreen window (can be any window) on the screen you want the game to be.
- Click Add Property, Size. Set to your resolution (Actual monitor resolution, not the resolution you told the game to be rendered at.)
- Click Add Property, Ignore requested geometry, Force. Select "Yes".
- Click Add Property, Keep above other windows, Force. Select "Yes".
- Click Add Property, No titlebar and frame, Force. Select "Yes". Click Apply, and reboot the game. It should work flawlesly, you can minimise and maximise the window freely.

Plays flawlessly. My controller problem I'm sure can be solved by steam input.

For some reason, the right stick is always inverted vertically, no matter the game setting.
