Game crashed (black screen right after launch) until I set Proton version to 4.2-9.
I really didn't enjoy the stuttering and the texture blockiness - this ruins the magic for me, since the first game was absolutely perfect.
Didn't launch for me without PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1.
In some places the images are "blocky" (with blocks about 10x10px - seems that those were lighting textures, because that happened over items where some lighting effects were supposed to happen, like on the ground right under Ori).
Stuttering due to shader compilation, as others have reported.
Crashes
Crashes after I pressed "play", error.log contains "kernelbase.dll caused an Unknown exception type (0x20474343) in module kernelbase.dll at 0033:7b00fc3e."
If running with PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 then some textures are missing and game is not very playable. Instead the game should work fine through DXVK, but Proton version might be selected manually - for example Proton 10 Experimental broke DXVK, switching back to Proton 10 stable or Proton 9 fixed the issue.

EA launcher is quirky, had to relaunch the game several times to get it to work.
Game works without GE, but I've experienced lots of stutters. Using GE and DXVK_ASYNC=1 fixed all issues. Videos on abilities also worked ok.
Videos in tutorial are not working, error logs tell something about WindowsVideoMedia problems ("not implemented").
Without PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 game crashed immediately after startup.
No engine sounds.
Low-resolution textures, but managed to fix it by disabling anti-aliasing.
