GE-Proton is not necessary, it's just what I use. Modding also works fine.
Just doesn't start
I have tred restarting Steam, gamescope, gamemode, GE-Proton9-26, GE-Proton9-25, UMU-Proton9.0, Proton Hotfix and Proton Experimental Bleeding Edge. It says launching, then running for a couple seconds, then it stops.
EpicGamesLauncher.exe -com.epicgames.launcher://apps/Sugar?action=launch&silent=true -opengl -SkipBuildPatchPrereq
Multiplayer works just as it does on Windows.
The only minor caveat is having to open the Epic Games Launcher in order to play, which I don't think would happen with Heroic.
gamemoderun gamescope -H 1080 -r 180 -f --force-grab-cursor -- %command% -dx11
I belive this issue was caused by being on Wayland, but was fixed completely by using gamescope.
Occasional crash with DX12, had to add -dx11 launch argument and change to DX11 in game settings to fix.
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xinput1_4=n,b" %command%
Just needs that launch argument for Geode
Ran fine before 2.207 update, but now there's no geode, it's really laggy and the sound is glitching. Might be fixed soon (I hope).
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xinput1_4=n,b" %command%
Again, seems to be new with 2.207.
Nearly unplayable, since 2.207. Ran fine before.
gamemoderun WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xinput1_4=n,b" %command%
Launch options are only necessary for modding (Geode).
Aspect ratio was kinda weird, but that might be a game thing not a linux thing.
