Works great right out of the box

Only issue so far is I haven't found how to switch techniques in combat with the controller mapping, I usually tap the screen to switch to mouse input to mouse over the selection to get the pop-up.

Fresh installation fails with CoherentUi process error

Unfortunately fresh installs appear to not be working. Tried this with latest Proton stable as well as experiemental and GE. The launcher initially starts just fine and begins downloading the update, but when the latest version for the End of Dragons expansion appears it crashes with the following error output:

"Assertion: Coherent GPU process crashed File: D:\Perforce\Live\NAEU\v2\Code\Arena\Engine\ArenaWeb\CoherentUi\AwCohContext.cpp(375) App: Gw2-64.exe Pid: 356 BaseAddr: 0000000140000000 ProgramId: 101 Build: 133592 ... Failed to open GFE XML: 2 Coherent GPU process crash: GpuProcessCrashed

This appears to have been an ongoing issue for a while, the forums are full of users actively trying to find workarounds.

Game does not use the entire screen, a fair amount of empty black space.

The only issue here was the game doesn't occupy the entire screen of the Deck. Maybe that could be worked around, though I didn't try. It doesn't actually impede the playing experience at all.

Fails due to incompatibility with Easy Anticheat

Steam starts application. We see the splash logos for Easy Anticheat and Lost Ark after which an error is shown:

"106: Security module initialization failure"

The application then hangs indefinitely on the splash screen until the process is killed.

Tried to run using default settings, Proton Experimental, and as mentioned in some other reports, Proton 4. None of them work. Using the default compatibility settings will allow the launcher to launch, but attempting to start the game from there causes a silent crash.
