Runs perfectly out of the box on my hardware. Performance on par with Windows version. No tinkering needed.
Works fine in tandem with mangohud and usual native launch parameters like fps limit and stuff.
Works just fine. No tinkering needed really. I used Proton Experimental but I am sure it will work with stable version as well.
All you need to do is force Proton either through game's properties window or through Steam compatibility settings. No other tinkering or modification is needed.
Works perfectly fine with default proton version. Only hangs when quitting to desktop which is easily resolved by killing the process.
The game freezes when I quit to desktop. Not a big issue though. I just force quit the game through System Monitor. Does not impact actual gameplay.
Works perfectly. No performance or stability issues. Can download playlists and scenarios. Can upload scores. All works fine.
As of this moment, Proton experimental or even ProtonGE10-10 does not work and game crashes while loading track. You have to have a custom ProtonGE from the link below. The custom Proton fixes all issues and game works with no issues. When you go to menu and return the track, menu screen sometimes does not disappear, but you can fix it by pressing ESC and clicking "Resume" again so it is only a minor concern.

Extract the folder inside into /home/username/.steam/steam/compatibilitytools.d/ and choose the custom proton from game properties in Steam.
Broken after 1.6.1 update. Freezes after 10 seconds in the menu and gives error report after a bit of waiting and crashes completely.
Stable proton version does not work as the game throws an error saying an "unauthorized software is running". Proton experimental bypasses this issue, however, freezing and crashing persists. Unplayable after 1.6.1 hotfix update.
