To my surprise it worked absolutely perfectly.
I read the reports from before testing the newest version and the rating on here was 'Bronze'. So I didn't expect much, but my buddy convinced me to just give it a try and we had a really amazing night playing this game and there were no issues whatsoever.
I've played this for so long on Linux already. Very relyable.

Doesn't launch (Version 1.0)
I bought it today (after the 1.0 update), I never played it before this version and it does not launch for me whatsoever. I got it because it was on sale and because it's currently marked as Platinum on here, but I fear that with the newest version they either broke something or added some sort of anti cheat that doesn't allow to play it through proton.
Use the proton version. It's more stable and doesn't have those weird bugs with drag-select-boxes.
I couldn't run the Vanilla Expanded modpack in native the Linux version, but in proton it works. (Tested also on Ubuntu, same machine)
