I tried multiple versions of proton, couldn't get it to launch.

Full OS crash

Runs pretty well without any issues.

Game runs absolutly perfect. In fact I get a better frame rate on Linux (I get 130 on Windows, 170 on Linux)
Runs perfectly.

artifacting at non-native resolution
I got an error saying missing file /path/to/Steam/steamapps/common/BigfootContent/Bigfoot.sh
I set it to force a specific proton version and selected 8.0-4 (the latest version at the time of writing), and the game launched. I had terrible artifacts on the main menu when the game defaulted to 1080p. I set the game to my screens native resolution (3440x14400), and the artifacts went away, and the game played perfectly.
Worked right out of box.
Didn't notice anything abnormal. It worked pretty well and even the multiplayer didn't give any problems. Minimal tinkering required.
Just install and play !
On first boot the game ran poorly, but after rebooting all problems where fixed.
I had to restart the game once since it was very slow when running, never had issues outside of that and it worked perfectly after restarting the game.
It finally works!
Installed and ran with zero issues, as native on windows
The only thing was it did capture my mouse while the game was running despite being on a dual screen setup. But not a major issue.

Videos did not show unless I used GloriousEggroll's custom build of Proton
Runs great out of the box with no issues for me.
Random crackling sometimes, usually fixed by restarting the game.

To my surprise it worked absolutely perfectly.
I read the reports from before testing the newest version and the rating on here was 'Bronze'. So I didn't expect much, but my buddy convinced me to just give it a try and we had a really amazing night playing this game and there were no issues whatsoever.
I've had some issues with screen-tearing but its likely hardware related
sometimes, Alt-Tabing out of the game takes multiples tries.
Works fine after update 4.0, tested on proton 6.3-5

Won't load any textures.
I got further than I did before: the game installed and loaded this time. However I got a test card-type background as well as the music and menu items. I couldn't get past this.
cant create new game
I was using experimental version of proton

Cinematics did not play, and main menu background was black screen
Using the latest proton experimental ran fine.
Black screen then crashes before getting to the menu.

Doesn't even reach menu
Shows black screen and then says fatal error.

Works. Multiplayer is laggy.
The multiplayer mode, which is essential for extracting any form of entertainment from this game has some heavy lags in some spots, but this also affects Windows. Other than that, the game works perfectly on current Proton 5.0-9.
DX11 not supported

The game does sadly not work properly. It can be installed, but if you try to start it, you get the error message: "Fatal Error!".

Comes up with an error message immediately.
