Kept CPU's HOT, My Temp Alarm kept going off, and Alt tabbing out to do other things (check a email), slowed machine to a crawl ...
Your "avatar" is indestructible it seems, can jump from heights with out any "stimpaks", and can run all day it seems, swam in river & Ocean, but Invisible walls abound ....
Just add Proton-7.0rc2-GE-1 , Goes in Directory, .steam/compatibilitytools.d , I did not need any other options, ran like a dream ..

Played Halo CE, 2 levels, Reach for 2 levels, it all seemed fine, except frame-drops/jerks, but nothing real bad, so far.
Shift key does not work ...
Jittery Graphics, in reach, Halo CE was fine
However it also has no multiplayer, as EAC is borked, So still work to be done ..

Launcher is broken, but there, move the mouse over things on your screen and they appear, Both Homeworld & Homeworld2 launched like that .. invisible launcher "icons" until you waved the mouse over them..
Runs better than windows ... except for the Launcher ...
Works Perfectly, better than Windows ..
Logitech 3d Joystick works fine, but the Aircraft crash sometimes, I think there's a nut loose behind the Controls ...
Seems to work fine, I moved my Windows Save Games to Linux Dir, loaded game, back to 4 months ago.
NO ISSUES, (So Far), Runs as well as Windows.
