Very close to working. Main issue is overlay won't close to let you back to game
was just a bit slow all the time, not fluid
The Steam overlay, once opened, couldn't be closed again, wether by Shift F2, Shift Tab or by the menu button "back to game". I had to force quit it all. Also, the game app icon stays active in my computer even tough I closed the game. And right click closing on the icon doesn't work.
At first the game wouldn't launch because of a bad/old Nvidia driver. Mine was a 390, and now that I updated to 450, Discovery Tour launched perfectly. It's actually my very first try at gaming on Steam and it feels so good to see Linux correctly running such an impressive game. I hope the overlay issue can be fixed soon, and maybe some performance improved. But it's an amazing start. Thank you Valve !
Kept CPU's HOT, My Temp Alarm kept going off, and Alt tabbing out to do other things (check a email), slowed machine to a crawl ...
Your "avatar" is indestructible it seems, can jump from heights with out any "stimpaks", and can run all day it seems, swam in river & Ocean, but Invisible walls abound ....
