For whatever reason the game game tried to launch on my integrated intel graphic chip after switching to vulkan. The result was a black screen. To fix this i had to set the VK_ICD_FILENAMES environment variable. If you have a nvida card and run into the same issue try to add this to your game launch options VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/nvidia_icd.json %command% +r_renderAPI 1 After this fix the game runs great.
