Mouse navigation for menus helps.
Launched from desktop, use keyboard only; from Steam, controller works as expected.
Native Linux version didn't fully like controller launched from desktop/console, keyboard fine; for full controller use, launch from Steam.
Changing d-pad for joystick didn't work in game sadly.
Wanted to remap d-pad, but game didn't like it.
With an hour and half playtime, we had laughs, successes, good times.
After hundreds hours on Windoze, played smoother with less stutter when asteroids come in.
As desired, any work.
Enlarging chat text's an option, sticks or kb/mouse, overall delight.
60 fps with FSR2 on 1080p monitor.
Installed from another platform as a non-steam app, ran flawlessly, multiple sessions, into Chapt. 5.
Installed already owned Windoze version from elsewhere as a non-Steam app, played into second chapter via a few separate sessions before reporting, over an hour of play, no issues, straightforward.
Used default controller settings, right trackpad as mouse, guessed buttons, only played first section. While text was readable (with glasses) it's small.
Did not run from desktop, needed game mode
Various buttons for keyboard actions
If going into settings, would switch devices, would need to go in/out of settings again for control to return.
Happily ran from game mode of Steam Deck with customized controller output for keys/mouse/mousewheel functions from controller.
Would not run for me from desktop Steam (quit after display setting screen).
Amazon Prime freebie, so installed via Lutris
Played well and enjoyed!
Do need mouse for selecting second controller and starting.
Do need mouse (trackpad) to start game (and select second controller for couch co-op).
Tried various Protons but had multiple saves hang particularly on small side quests. Not a huge deal and didn't have issues with main story adventure.
Used docked mouse to enable (touchscreen should work but on projector), played with second controller.
Played through complete game happily, some menus not designed for controller alone, need touch or mouse.
Freezing during tutorial and later with fire (perhaps associated with death screen) required force quitting/relaunching
Froze consistenly at water section of tutorial, then later at fire on street, refunded.
