I play with SanchoMod. Make sure you update that mod after an update other wise it won't load
I used the L5 button for the Toggle Magnifier
Set fps to 40 and put wattage to 8
Text is hard to read, I had to
If you are using SanchoMod disable cloud saves
Text is kinda small, just a FYI for people with poor vision like me!
No issues connecting to servers. YMMV
The notes were kinda hard to read sometimes, but you have the option to read them in a native interface
I had one crash when running but other than that it was smooth saling
Aside from one crash when running, the game ran perfect!
The adventures of captain spirit DLC save didn't sync up for some reason. It wasn't a game breaker.
At the end of each chapter I had to zoom in for the post episode info
During episode three I expierenced a LOT of weird graphic texture issues. I had to restart the game to get rid of that.
Especially during chapter 3 it crashed a couple of times.
During chapter 3 I experienced a lot of T-posing during cruical scenes
After Episode 2 for some reaosn the game wouldnt' load. I had to switch to GE 7.24 in order to play. This really wasn't a good remaster
Numerous crashes in between checkpoints. Sometimes I have to hard reset the deck
When i installed it I had to switch to Proton-GE and then update it in desktop mode
At some points it was a bit difficult to read text, but it didn't effect gameplay
In the settings you can increase the text size and game UI
In my playthrough the save wouldn't link up with Life Is Strange 2, i think it may have been a steam cloud sync issue. Otherwise the game performance was PERFECT
Mods go into the compdata folder. Once you copy them over they will work perfectly.
I added screenshot capability to the L5 button (it is the C key)
Please note: If you bought the game from origin before, you will need buy the base game AGAIN in order to fully experience it in steam. You can download any of your existing DLC bought in origin, hit Shift + F1 to see the origin download manager to see the progress. It will take a while.
Overall the game plays great even with 1000s of mods that I have! It does take getting used to controls. YMMV depending on your playstyle.
