Set refresh rate to 40, set FPS max to 40, set in game FPS to 30. (else you get jittery game play.)
Frames jitter if the the limiter in the steamdeck does not match the game.
If you have the game Set to 60 FPS, the Steam deck needs to be unlocked to push 60. Having the refreshrate uncapped and the frame limiter off is needed.

All I did was download it and launched it. Thats it.
