Based on the gold rating I wanted to give this game a try, spent about 2 hours troubleshooting and trying suggestions from ProtonDB, Reddit

Textures Broken, movements smeared colors across the screen (unable to customize character or play)
Performance:Slight Performance Problems
visual degradation was so sever it is hard to determine performance impact

I am on AMD hardware, it looks like some recent success are on NVidia
