when I used Proton, I couldn't connect to servers: I got a message that I need to disable add-ons to join VAC protected servers. I removed all of my mods and I still got the same error. I had to use native version

it's good with some compromises
upon launch I faced an error what stated that "I need to install .NET 4 " (what I already did with protontricks)

I already installed the previously packages mentioned by others using protontricks (1.xna40, 2.dotnet45, 3. dotnet472).

-the game didn't start full screen with Proton 9.x and Gamescope, I had to switch back to Proton 8.0-5 -I had stuttering, so I did these things to solve this: I placed the dgVoodoo2 DLL files to the game's system folder and applied them with the previously mentioned launch options.
