The game installs and loads out of the box with no issues and runs at a smooth, settings-locked 30fps using integrated AMD graphics (Radeon HD 8400). When the game starts, an invisible window appears to try and go full-screen. Hitting the space bar brings the window into focus. While this game is a masterpiece, there are problems on modern hardware that make it slightly annoying to play, unrelated to proton/wine. Input and controller support issues, lack of higher resolutions, and minor bugs can be mostly solved with these drag and drop mods/scripts:
