No combination of flags or options removed the mouse triggered stutter.
Moving the mouse created visual stutters and FPS drops.
Does not start
I've tried Proton Experimental, 6.3-8, 6.21-GE-2, and a few other ones. The game says it's running, but nothing comes up and the computer feels like it's locking up.
Like the other poster mentioned, enable D3d11 and install d3dcompiler_47 (protontricks 99300 d3dcompiler_47). Played for about 30 minutes of mission 4, no issues.
EAC strikes again
Tried with regular proton, experimental, and latest GE. Was always able to get into the main menu but the game hangs on the "Looking for Players" stage of match making (eventually crashing to desktop). Seems like the same EAC issue previously reported.
Works out the box. Played a few hours without issue. Game keeps running after exit, had to kill manually (pkill -9 rrail).
Not sure why the other users are reporting platinum, you literally have to work around Steam and launch it through the console(go to game directory in the console and run "wineconsole Warsim.exe"). Some window resizing issues, some text is is word wrapped and some is not, some font looks jaggy; it may be my system or the game, I have no idea. Aside from that, it appears to work, sound and music play.
