It will need to be taken out of fullscreen, but it's very playable
For some reason, when in fullscreen, the game won't let you host online lobbies
Not sure why but it did randomly crash the other day
Assuming the hardware is good and you are using the mf-install script, it is pretty easy to get this game up-and-running
FPS fluctuates, lowest seen was 56 (games as such cause lag when the FPS is lower than 60)

Fullscreen doesn't work well with the non-native resolution (monitor is 1600x900 but I want 1280x720) and panel won't hide (Xfce4)
NOTE: for some reason the online wouldn't work for me while I was using Proton 5 but the rest of the game still worked properly
Easy to setup and ran better than it did when I was on Windows.
IDK how to explain it but certain characters cause a large texture break that overwrites the background. For example, after doing Jam's Choukyaku Hou'oushou, she would constantly have it. Another example is with Sol's intro, after he moves his weapon.
Framerate fluctuates between 56 and 60 FPS in-battle. It's a lot better than on Windows considering it would stay at like 30 FPS, though that might have been when I had 8GB RAM

Without LD_PRELOAD part in launch options, playing a few matches in the game would badly stutter and eventually crash, also causing some GPU errors to be spit out in system logs
Will need to test with higher settings, everything was running smoothly using lowest for everything but I know I can up those now that the stability issue has been fixed
Unless your computer is significantly better, I don't think it would be a good idea to play this game on Linux
Punch Planet is slow even when I'm on Windows, but it is significantly slower when I play it on Manjaro
Runs pretty well, may need to turn off some of the "pretty" stuff for graphics on certain hardware
The game will crash if you Alt-Tab or change workspaces, but only when fullscreen
As stated before, the game will crash with Alt+Tab in fullscreen
