Runs identical to windows, if not better. I will never play apex legends on windows again with how well it runs on linux.
Really good, there is nothing to gripe about.
Runs great with any current version of proton, though ProtonGE and Experimental are very much preferred.
Absolutely flawless experience. More recent single player games by Bethesda have a pattern of working extremely well with Proton, meaning you're ultimately giving up nothing for playing this title on Linux.
The artifacts are just too evident to consider this game playable. In every other way it is totally fine.

Tabbing out in the menu or minimizing, selecting another window, and then maximizing the game will often result in window cutoffs.
Noticeably lower performance than what is possible with Windows 10, still more than playable
No issues to speak of regarding multiplayer
Using Proton Experimental or GE is highly recommended to get as much performance as possible out of this game. No other changes are needed to have a painless experience.
After sorting out the early stuttering, it is a very smooth and seamless experience.
On first few launches there is major stuttering (which may in part be due to the fact that this was run on an HDD), but after playing a while or running the game after a couple times, the problem was gone.
Sometimes when tabbed out and tabbing back in, the game will either be forced into windowed mode or cannot readjust to native resolution.
Runs great with and without Proton experimental; I highly recommend trying on Linux.
If you avoid a few maps due to the artifacts, this game runs and feels great using Proton.
Heavy artifacts in specific maps, namely Bushrangers Run and Hirschfelden
Performance is about on par with Windows 10, multiplayer is for the most part just fine, and FSR works great.
Multiplayer functionality seems to be agnostically poor; failing to synchronize with servers and seems to affect windows users as well to some extent.
It used to be a virtually singeplayer only experience but it has since gotten much more polished and functional. 10/10 would recommend to those that got the game for free on epic.
