PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
I have attempted launch options suggested for linux but no matter what I put it always goes to a webpage saying "Minimum Required Specification" isn't met.
Boots with "%command% /dx11" but after login has massive amounts of artifacting
Tried to fix the window being tiny with "WINED3D=1 %command%" but still only displays the same amount of window as before but with full window clipped into it.
Used Proton-7.0rc3-GE-1
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% /dx11
Tried the same options as I managed to get it to start on Ubuntu but won't. Opens the same webpage with minimum requirements not met as Strike.
Would only run once with Proton Experimental and Proton-6.3-8, switched Proton-7.0rc3-GE-1 works perfectly.

Must use separate ext4 partition not home directory.
The starting videos were broken but you can just click through them.
Took a very long time to reserve space on the SSD before downloading which was a bit weird.
Changed left thumbstick to arrow keys
You need to set the resolution in the starting config window. Needed a mouse to click the buttons.
Audio missing from cutscenes
Start FMV was missing
Slight FPS drop and hitching on first entering levels
Would only run once with Proton Experimental and Proton-6.3-8, switched Proton-7.0rc3-GE-1 works perfectly. Must use partition not home.

Reduced frame rate to 30 fps
Had to plug in a mouse and click the launch button as trackpad would not click it.
Drops in combat to around 10-20 FPS
No issues with networking, connected fine and no noticable lag with other players.
I don't have experience with using the controller with STO so will need to try it out gradually. Bluetooth mouse and keyboard work perfectly with it.
Has an Official Layout for controls. Works really well but did have to reduce the sensitivity to 10%.
The second time I launched it it took a very long time to process shaders, which it was fine not doing the first time.
I will update the report if anything significant happens.
