Switched to Proton GE to enable Wayland support.
Also you should try changing the API from DX11 to Vulkan. It gave me a significant FPS boost.
Overall runs great, less stutters than on freshly installed Windows 11.

I tried different proton versions, changed and mixed every combination of game settings, played with launch options but for some reason the game still works like shit. On Windows 11 it is a pleasant experience while on Linux I struggle to get 70 fps on the fresh save with everything set to the lowest. PROTON_LOG=1 didn't help to identify the problem so I guess I'm done with trying to get this game working.

I forced vulkan because the game used to fall back to dx11 for some reason, and it seems to give more performance, but I didn't do comprehensive testing between them. vkbasalt used for CAS (sharpness) effect, because in-game TAA is too blurry for my liking even at native 1440p. Overall no issues with the game, it's a very enjoyable experience!
