I played several 3v3 multiplayer games online. All great. Works straight out the box. I would recommend you switch the resolution to 920x1080 even if you're just playing on Steam Deck screen since otherwise all the in-game UI will take too much of the screen.
The game has a media directory under its install folder that causes crashes in the game client. The current workaround is to move it to a new path so the game wont load any of the cutscenes. Move: $STEAMDIR/steamapps/common/RoboQuest/RoboQuest/Content/Movies TO $STEAMDIR/steamapps/common/RoboQuest/RoboQuest/Content/Movies_TMP
If you fix the cinematic issue, the game works without any issue.
Good game, runs well. Minor issue on steam deck is that you usually need to drag-and-drop actions instead of clicking, which is more difficult when you're using a touchpad.
You just need a mouse to play this game. I used the touchpad as mouse, touchpad click as left click, and B as right click.
Good game. Easy to play on Steam Deck portably.
