For Uplay you need an internet connection and the first time you start the download window freezes, you had to restart Steam Deck
There is to set the graphics to the maximum, the sound will occasionally lag
I'll start with the fact that assassin's creed syndicate works worse and I expected the game to pull 30 fps on medium, but Valhalla works fine at high-ultra (everything was set to the maximum) at 30 fps at FSR 2.0 ultra quality (but I advise you to just set the quality, since the sound still lags)
Played offline for about an hour. The game froze a lot at first, but after that the game started to work better.
I set the limit to 30 fps and played on high graphics settings
There were friezes, in the first locations very often.
The game is played on the following graphics settings: stock resolution, high graphics settings (it also pulls ultra at 30 fps, but then the battery is consumed in 110 minutes) also in the game raised the resolution quality from 100 to 140, FSR to ultra. The game did not crash ... there were no problems.
grass sometimes flickers, but it does not rush into the eye (and only with the GE patch)
To be honest, Fallout 76 itself is not stable, but there were rare cases when I loaded, when moving to other locations, the game dropped the fps to 0. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I play at the highest available graphics settings
In multiplayer, when moving to other locations, the fps drops to 0 and sharply ...
I have been familiar with this game for a long time and I will say that the game works very poorly on all platforms. FPS drops, lags, freezes... these are all the features of this game, and not the problems of the game itself on the Steam Deck, but with all this, the game is playable. I already managed to finish the season and complete the mission 4 times in The Pitt. On average, I managed to play 6-7 hours on the steam deck, probably, and the game works when using a weak mobile Internet. Regarding modifications, you can download and install modifications without problems, but not all will work (possibly due to the modification itself)
You can play without problems and for a non-sense, big text, everything related to missions or subtitles is readable
To start, go to the battleye folder and find the ini file there. and replace the value of GRB.exe with GRB_vulkan.exe after you enter the game as usual
failed to change resolution. It's on stock at 720.
jamming
I won’t say that it won’t work, but the graphics hurt my eyes. Personally, I returned the money for the game on steam, as I was counting on a level of quality like Valhala, but we were very badly scammed.
Sometimes the test is either unreadable or flattened. But chat, subtitles and other elements of text graphics (or text) are readable
I did not find a working button to skip videos that I already know by heart
Since I play with constant rolling blackouts in my country, I have to use 4G which is constantly either reduced in speed or disconnected periodically. So, the game works stably with all the above prescribed factors
I play at the maximum available graphics settings and the game runs stable at 30-40 fps without delays and lags. Multiplayer is fully functional. I would say that this is one of the most stable games, not counting the problematic tex
Changed jump button to [L4]
almost all the text is difficult to make out without looking closely
As soon as you arrive at the junkyard location, the game crashes and often
Everything was played perfectly, but at the location it brought down every 10 minutes the game closes and there is nothing to be done. Maybe you need to install an older version of ProtonGE... but the game is not playable with version 7-41 yet
Initially, the game has a high level of graphics, but on average, the autonomy of Steam Deck, taking into account this game, is no more than 2 hours. Either reduce the setting graphs or turn on dynamic shading.
Almost the entire text is very hard to read... You have to either look close to the screen, or there is nothing not to read at all
If you select OpenGL, the game crashes the Steam Deck or it freezes tightly
Playing with the trackpad in mind works great. Of course, there are moments, such as getting used to the graphics (especially at the time of moving around the map) and almost all moments of the game associated with graphics seem very small, where it’s not very pleasant for me to play. But the game works and works great.
I will say right away that the game lacks FSR as a scaling option. So you will have to play on medium and high graphics settings, which is not very bad. There were frequent glitches with textures and missing textures, but it works. Not very good, but it works. Easy to play right out of the box.
