I installed Linux version of Mod Organizer 2 on GitHub in Desktop Mode and gave it a run. Protontricks was mandatory for the installation to proceed. After that, I had to run Fallout: New Vegas on Gaming Mode and then switch to Desktop Mode again, to transfer MO2 with Viva New Vegas from my other computer. Launching FONV on Gaming Mode presents me with a window of MO2, where I can start the game without any issues, and with all the mods included.
I mapped the Back Grip Buttons to supplement the Front Face Buttons.
I enabled Half Rate Shading and set the TDP to 8 Watts. The settings were also set to Medium.
These crashes are normal for New Vegas, as they occur on PC very frequently as well. They can be toned down with Modpacks, but they still occur sometimes.
I have disabled Reflections in the Graphics Settings, as it enables the Raytracing feature in the game, causing alot of FPS drops for unnoticeable visual fidelity.
I have had the controller icons being set to the keyboard ones, by going to sleep mode and turning the device back on, but it returned back to the Steam Deck icons after a certain amount of time.
Works like a charm, although it has DRM, meaning you have to launch this game with an internet connection and let the device go on sleep mode with the power button before you go offline.
