Vertical input causes lag, makes the game kinda unplayable. You can fix this by replacing the default SDL2.dll with another one (probably KEX engine game one). I use the one from Quake remaster and the game has no issue since that.
PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11 %COMMAND%
Just slow downs there and there when it loads some shaders
Valve fixed the day1 problems. Some shader loading can cause a short freeze but otherwise the game works flawlessly.
Audio doesn't skip anymore thanks to the new wine update. Use Proton Experimental. With that, it works out of the box.
Once u alt-tab, u can't go back to the game
Too many problems.
No audio. Unpacking gstringv2_dir.vpk sound folder to the game's sound folder fix this.
Broken subtitles
Random crashes.
Menu settings change the directx level to 8. Have to change it back in the console.
The newest Proton Experimental (bleeding edge) supports cutscenes too, so now the game runs perfectly.
Works OotB. Have some performance issue with the highest settings, but I'm sure it's just because it's Early Acces and unoptimized.
With the default Proton there is some distortion in dark places with the shadows. With Proton-6.10-GE-1 the game works perfectly.
