The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered
Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton9-27, Set launch options, protontricks
-- env DXVK_HDR=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 WINE_DISABLE_HARDWARE_SCHEDULING=0 WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm,dwmapi=n,b" PROTON_ENABLE_NGX_UPDATER=1 DXVK_NVAPI_DRS_SETTINGS=NGX_DLSS_RR_OVERRIDE=on,NGX_DLSS_SR_OVERRIDE=on,NGX_DLSS_FG_OVERRIDE=on,NGX_DLSS_RR_OVERRIDE_RENDER_PRESET_SELECTION=render_preset_latest,NGX_DLSS_SR_OVERRIDE_RENDER_PRESET_SELECTION=render_preset_latest DXVK_NVAPI_SET_NGX_DEBUG_OPTIONS=DLSSIndicator=0,DLSSGIndicator=0 gamemoderun gamescope -f -W 2560 -H 1440 -r 360 --hdr-enabled --man
Enable Frame Gen
Process
- make sure protontricks is installed
- run in terminal: protontricks 2623190 regedit
- navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers (you may have to create the GraphicsDrivers key) in regedit gui
- add a dword var named HwSchMode with value 2 (will show up as 0x00000002 or something)
- also added WINE_DISABLE_HARDWARE_SCHEDULING=0 to launch options in steam not sure if that made it work or not bc didn't test without but was more as a precaution in case the regedit didn't work
- in game press ~ key and type Altar.DLSS.FG.Enabled 1
- you can also type Altar.Reflex.Mode 1 for reflex enabled or Altar.Reflex.Mode 3 for reflex+boost
Audio:Other
Audio Issues
Fix
- all I had to do was go into my system settings on fedora and make sure my speakers were selected
- this would only be an issue on multi-output setups (e.g. focusrite interface for monitors and sub + headphones)
gamescope for HDR and integrating MangoHud on Fedora
Fix
- had to use this repo for gamescope instead of fedora default https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/vulongm/gamescope-git/
- add env DXVK_HDR=1 to launch options
- add gamescope -f -W 2560 -H 1440 -r 360 --hdr-enabled --mangoapp -- %command% to end of launch options
- full launch options are as following:
bash -c 'exec "${@/OblivionRemastered.exe/OblivionRemastered/Binaries/Win64/obse64_loader.exe}"' -- env DXVK_HDR=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 WINE_DISABLE_HARDWARE_SCHEDULING=0 WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm,dwmapi=n,b" PROTON_ENABLE_NGX_UPDATER=1 DXVK_NVAPI_DRS_SETTINGS=NGX_DLSS_RR_OVERRIDE=on,NGX_DLSS_SR_OVERRIDE=on,NGX_DLSS_FG_OVERRIDE=on,NGX_DLSS_RR_OVERRIDE_RENDER_PRESET_SELECTION=render_preset_latest,NGX_DLSS_SR_OVERRIDE_RENDER_PRESET_SELECTION=render_preset_latest DXVK_NVAPI_SET_NGX_DEBUG_OPTIONS=DLSSIndicator=1024,DLSSGIndicator=2 gamemoderun gamescope -f -W 2560 -H 1440 -r 360 --hdr-enabled --mangoapp -- %command%
- the bash script is for OBSE64 https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivionremastered/mods/282?tab=posts&comment_id=153577086
- the NGX_DLSS_RR_OVERRIDE and etc. all load latest presets for nvidia dlss, fg, and rr
